Yes, my sister and I own two horses and they’re such dear things! Haha, that sounds like a pony! 🙂 I spent the summer around three troublesome ponies, but they still stole my heart regardless.

I guess there is some magic in the mundane, then! Giving your mind space is very important. Perhaps I’ll take over the dishwashing and see if it does my mind good!

As regards to my current project–well, I guess once NaNoWriMo hits, this won’t be my current project, but it’s my biggest/most important writing project. It’s a fantasy trilogy, very Tolkien-inspired. Perhaps a bit too much Tolkien-inspired, buuuut I’m working on that. I blame my younger self for that–it’s her fault 😉

But anyways, it tells the story of Kallista Flannery, Princess of Kirbett, who was kidnapped as a child and spirited away to Earth until she’s brought back to her home ten years later. She finds her world on the brink of a war–the evil reptilian creatures are stirring in the south, and everyone is fearing the worst. It seems their only chance of survival is a union of the strongest nations, but the corrupt Elvenking refuses an alliance. Kallista learns the only hope of securing an alliance with the elves is to travel south into the heart of the land of the reptiles and recover the most prized possession of the Elvenking–the Golden Scepter, which was stolen years and years prior.
