Yes, I do live in Australia. Which is  probably why I find the colonial period fascinating. I’m currently sort of outlining a retelling of Les Miserables set there, but I have at least three other projects lined up so it might be a few years before I get around to it.

That idea sounds really cool! I read a series based on a similar concept once and it was really interesting and quite educational as well.

My favourite genres are historical and fantasy, and occasionally I blend historical and fantasy together, like my current project, which is sort of Louis-Auguste and Marie Antoinette in a fantasy world. Sometimes I write dystopian as well or I experiment with other genres, but fantasy and historical are by far my favourites.
