    Hello everyone! I’m so sorry for the delay. I meant to reply earlier but couldn’t get to it!

    To make amends I wrote extra! (actually, no, that’s my typical response) I tend to think that everyone loves talking as much as I do!

    Just for curiosity’s sake: Does anyone have a “Literary Kindred Spirit”? Like a character you identify with? What is the hardest part of writing? And again, thank you all for taking the time to write!

    @eden-anderson

    Hey Eden! I’m so glad to meet you!

    No, I’m afraid I haven’t gotten a website yet, though I am working on a blog.

    I think its so cool that you love audio dramas! I know a lot of people who love reading, but know precious few who actually enjoy listening to audio dramas. Which are some of your favorites? My favorite companies are Lamplighter Theatre, Focus on the Family Radio Theatre, and Jonathan Park.

    Some of my favorite books…it’s so hard to decide because I love so many! I would probably say some of my favorite books include The Bronze Bow, The Golden Goblet, Little Women, Chronicles of Narnia, Anne of Green Gables, The Time Machine, The Treasure Seekers, and Treasure Island. I also really loved Great Expectations.

    Which are your favorite books and poems?

    (BTW, have you read the newest article by Hope and the SE Staff members? It was one of the best articles I’ve read so far!)

    @seekjustice

    Hi Justice! I’m so glad to meet you!

    You know, I have never heard someone say that they love the Australian colonial period.(French Revolution is so exciting too!)  I myself haven’t studied that period much but absolutely LOVE the idea of a novel set in that time! So Unique! Speaking of which, do you live in Australia?

    I am currently working on a short screenplay about two girls that must move from a large city to a small countryside farm because of the Great Depression. It’s still a concept…but I think it could work 😉

    Which is your favorite Genre to write in?

    P.S. I struggle with Rambling too 😉

    @libby

    Hi Libby! It’s a pleasure to meet you! And welcome from a fellow newcomer! 😀 I don’t think I expected to actually find many girls who like the same things as I do…where I live they’re something of a rarity (LOL)!

    It’s so wonderfully strange to finally find some of my own “writer species”. First time I hear someone else say (I say it all the time, to the great annoyance of my sister 😉 they have a favorite word! But I’m afraid I can’t take credit for it…you know that saying: “Good writers borrow; great writers steal”? Yes, well, I borrowed…or rather, “stole” the phrase from K. M. Weiland! (You could also say I adopted it…) 😀

    Which are some of your other favorite words?

    Music and books: I love international music. But I probably listen most to  Jazz, Broadway, Classical, and Christian Pop (Lauren Daigle, King and Country, Hillsong, Anthony Evans, etc.) I especially love music with Fusion (music that has blended styles, like gospel and contemporary, flamenco and jazz). How about you?

    My favorite authors are probably C. S. Lewis, Louisa May Alcott, Lucy M. Montegomery, and S.D. Smith, Eloise Jarvis Magraw, and Edith Nesbit. Which are yours?

    @samantha-pen

    Hello Samantha! Lovely to meet you! And welcome!

    Thank you! I love that writing gives artists a platform to share the Gospel where it’s sometimes the only way to reach people! I was actually unsure about joining SE, partly because I didn’t know if I had time, but I realized that I was really struggling in places where a writing group would help tremendously. So I joined. And here I am. 😀

    I am actually working on a short script set in the Great Depression too! What is yours about? Which are your favorite books/authors?

    @selah-chelyah

    Hello Selah! It’s so great to meet you! Thank you!

    I am actually so surprised to find so many people say that they sound like me! I thought I was “the last of my kind” or something of that sort, but I’m delighted to find out that I was wrong!

    I think History can be a really wonderful way to show people the mistakes someone in the past made so that we can avoid doing it ourselves.

    I was actually not planning on joining a guild because I was afraid it might take too much of my time. But, seeing that I have changed my mind often enough, I just might…

    Are you trying to recruit me to yours?….;) Hahaha
