@faith_blum Wow, I’m late to the welcome party!  Sorry about that. 😉  Welcome!  I’m so happy you’ve decided to become our guildmaster!  I think I can speak for all of us when I say we’re delighted to have you.
I am a tea-drinker, card-maker, pianist, amateur poet, reader, sister, and a laugher.  I love dogs, Jaguars, and Elephants, as well as Violets and lavender.  Tolkien, CS Lewis, LM Montgomery, Elizabeth Gaskell, Jane Austen, Mildred Taylor, David Platt, John Piper, Robert Browning, Robert Louis Stevenson, and William Wordsworth are my favorite authors.  I could go on.  Some of my favorite books that have influenced me in important ways would be Radical, by David Platt, Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen, Falcon in the Glass, by Susan Fletcher, Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry, by Mildred Taylor, and Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings and other related tales.  That’s a lot, I know, but I can’t say one without mentioning the others.
What about you?  Do you have favorite books, authors, or either that have influenced you in neat ways?
I noticed from skimming the earlier comments you mentioned you have played piano for 23 years?  That is so neat!  I love piano and am just starting to teach, but I’ve only been playing for 11 years.  Do you have any favorite composers or songs?
Also, if you could meet three famous people from the past, who would they be? – Jesus is not a valid answer. 😉  And what is your favorite season?
By the way, you mentioned you’ve published quite a few books.  I found two at our local library and just put them on hold – Amazing Grace and The Solid Rock unless there’s another Faith Blum out there. 🙂  I’m super excited to read them.  They look great from the summary.

@kay I don’t mean to pry, but I saw you said that you’re from Washington, Pacific Northwest?  Right around Seattle area?  Same here.  Do you love the rain?
