So she sets down her pen with a sigh and a frown
And quietly stretches and wiggles her fingers,
Deciding to walk in the dusk of the day
While heaven’s dim sunlight yet longingly lingers.

And as her appendages take her afar,
Her soul becomes lost in a haven of dreams;
The beauty that greets her brings peace to her heart
With the thought that her life’s not as hard as it seems.
