@rosemarylouise, a little late to this, sorry! I just read through your story and I had to say that I really enjoyed it. It drew me in right away and kept me interested up till the end. (Which I’ve realized is very rare when I’m reading most short stories (I’m not sure why), so good job!) There were a couple extra long sentences that I got a little lost in, but overall it seemed to flow well. I also really connected with the characters and their conversation, most likely because I’ve had dozens of similar conversations with my older brother. 🙂 Keep up the good work! I hope to read more of your work sometime in the future. 🙂
