Activity

Lance turned around to set the towel down on the counter.  What was he supposed to do now?  The hot coffee was soaking through his uniform and– Ouch!  Lance sucked in his chest and pulled the fabric away from his skin.  Was there a restroom?  Maybe he could run it under water or…  Another cup sat on the counter with his name on it.  Had he… where had… Lance picked up the coffee, muttered a “thank you” to nobody in particular, and walked off the far side of the room.  Maybe there were restrooms down that hall.

About three steps into his march, still holding his uniform away from his skin, he stopped.  He couldn’t take his coffee into the restroom.  Why had he picked it up?  He should just leave and…
