OKAY GUYS, let’s do one of these.

You don’t have to join if you just want to watch, but feel free to drop a character in if you want to!  (And be sure to subscribe to the topic so that you don’t get left behind.)

The setting for our first character lounge is… a coffee shop.  People are chilling out, getting their morning espresso, and our characters are all going to meet.  I’ll post my own character’s description below along with a blurb to get things started.

Description:

Name: Lance Fires

Physical Description:
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Height: 5′ 11″
Hair: black, short
Eyes: blue, light
Clothing: Crisp white uniform.  Shined black shoes.  Formal military.

About: Lance is the middle child in a rich, celebrity family (reality tv show) who leaves the family gig to make his own way in life, and joins the military to head efforts in refugee relief.  Also, he’s next level awkward and impressionable.

And… HERE WE GO.

 

Lance stepped into the coffee shop under the ding of the bell.  The burnt chocolate smell flared his nostrils.  What a sacrifice people made just to wake up in the morning.  A brisk jog worked just as well… Lance stepped up to the counter, rubbed his tongue against his teeth, and fumbled for words.  How did people even order coffee?  “Um… black?”

“Size?”

“Regular please.  Or, um… yeah regular.  How big is…?  Nevermind, yeah I’ll just have a small.”

“Four fifty seven.”

Lance swiped his card and watched the crowd mill and gossip around him while he waited for the coffee which, of course, he spilled down the front of his white uniform as soon it was handed to him.  Earth and twinkling…
