@sarah-inkdragon, thank you! That clears things up nicely. Those are some very good suggestions. I will definitely put in some more subtext(something I like doing anyways) and make it shorter.

Yes, Frederick is my villain. It’s just that, the prologue is from his POV so, to himself, he’s the good guy, but as you get more into the story, and into my MC’s POV, you get to see who he actually is. Without the rose colored glasses, so to speak. XD

Oh. My. Gosh. His niece and the soldier! I did not think of that! I want to ship it too! Can I do that? Wow, I seriously never though about that! That would be… Okay, I’m going to stop talking now. I don’t want to accidentally give any spoilers. Wow, my vision of those characters has changed a little bit now.

I will definitely read some articles and start working on this, but first I have to make sure I get my Oct. critique written, so that I’m not rushing at the last moment.
