@silverclaw-bonnetfolly Ah, maybe it’ll help if I clarify what I mean. Let’s take the Steampunk biome and ~1600s Europe put it in the following cases:
Case A: The Steampunk Biome has France, Germany, and Italy. The three countries all belong to the same biome, but politcally are seperate and distinct entities.
Case B: Each Biome solely has one independent political power.
Am I correct to assume we’d be using Case A? (For the record, that’s what I’m in favor of because, well, more avenues of conflict).

And while I’m seeking clarification, let me turn to the landmass question (good job on the map @ariella-newheart , it’s very Tolkein-esque. As for filling it in, maybe a couple of lone mountains in the lower-right?). Here’s three options:

-A: Parimi is the only landmass on the planet
-B: Parimi isn’t the only landmass on the planet, BUT it’s the only one the continental society (barring maybe the Wise and Knowledgeable such as eye-in-the-sky Vidente) knows about
-C: Parimi isn’t the only landmass on the planet, and Parimi (the continent) society knows about the others.

I’m personally in favor of option B or C, since it allows for a larger drawing board- Option B also allows for the greater-scope good guys to be planning for potential dooms that others know little about. What’re your thoughts, guys?

Also, that big ol’ mountain in the middle needs a proper name. And so does the mountain chain itself.
