Hey, I finished this a while ago.  Should probably have reported back.

The book was up and down for me.  It had a lot of YA cliches in it that bother me, but also enough interesting twists and fantasy politics to keep me interested.  The ending was fantastic and I think (because of it) that the next book is going to be 10/10.  😀
