I am a chronic overthinker.
When I become aware of my overthinking, I overthink my overthinking.
When I’m writing, overthinking can be a real hindrance. A real creativity killer.
So I Googled “Overthinking as an author” and found this little gem:

I printed the article so I could make highlights and notes … effectively overthinking the article.
