So… Okay. it’s hard to think of debatable topics cause many of us agree to so much. lol…

Here is an interesting topic… I’ve personally done a lot of research, but would be interested to hear what other people think.

When a Christian dies, the common platitude is that he/she is with Jesus in heaven now. However, besides when Jesus said to the thief “Today, you will be with me in paradise…”, I do not recollect any other specific verse that says we go to heaven after we die…

On the other hand, there is verses that talk about the resurrection of the dead at the end of days and as we rise with Christ, there will be a new heaven and a new earth, and we will live upon the new earth in the new Jerusalem and Jesus will be our king…

so…. my question is… which do you think it is? Do we “sleep” in the earth until the resurrection, or do we go straight to heaven to wait….?

(I will say, I have my opinion on it, and there are people on both sides who use the Bible to support their beliefs…. and I still firmly believe the Bible Does NOT contradict itself… but still interested in your thoughts. 🙂 _)

Oh, a second question(s), I guess…. do you have doubts about Christianity? Do you think the Bible is inerrant or are there parts of the Bible that you feel contradicts itself?  Has there ever been a question about your faith that has ‘stumped’ you? Would love to hear them!
