Saevus stared at the wolf-thing which had just sprayed him with ice. Roaring out “I will make you my pet, beast!” He charged forward, swinging his sword. Abirami jumped out of the way, and Saevus’ sword swooshed over head and blasted into the wall, creating a huge explosion of rock and dust. One wave of his hand, and dust cleared, revealing people scrambling wildly to get away or staring at him, directly in front of him was this wolf-thing, bristling and baring its fangs at him.

Saevus stared at it for a moment, and then readied his sword to strike. But first, to find out what it was capable of…

Concentrating his powers on the floor, he set the floor below the wolf-thing on fire with a motion of his left hand.

That, he thought, should be a good test of this beast.
