No, it’s the first one. The second one was called When Infinity is Empty but is now called If the Stars are Fire because I like that better and it works with the changes I’ve made.
I can’t remember if you know about it or not. It’s tentatively titled Wattle Fires and it’s a fantasy novel set in a Pacific inspired world (the actua…[Read more]

Life has been absolutely crazy lately. Writing wise, I’ve been working on the third draft of the Stars fill Infinity and I finished an unrelated novel. And I’m going to be editing that, and finishing off the third draft of TSFI next month. How about you? How’s Decisions coming along?

I am going to try to get a bit of outlining done for my superhero book. I might read a bit too (I just started a book I’m pretty excited about). Anyone else want to join me?

@rochellaine @theresa-play @the-fledgling-artist *flys in through the window* It’s been a while. But I’m here. Writing a scene for my book. 😀
It’s great to ‘see’ y’all again. :3 -

@theresa-play I like almost all of those! (If I’d remembered you were Alia, I’d have known you like those musicals, but…oh well. 😉 New names are so confusing!) Now I’ve got to go back and listen to the soundtracks of Anastasia and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers again. It’s been too long since I have! 😛
Ok, I can recommend a couple of…[Read more]

While I agree with this philosophy expoused here for the most part, that angery question “Why do you write?” is too much. When I was younger, I turned to books as an escape reality, not as a my own reality. As I’ve grown older, that has totally changed. Now I would tend to argue that, if we were pitting escapism vs. way to understand…[Read more]

@theresa-play Are you still here? Probably not. But anyway, I’d love to introduce you to a new musical, if you like! But first, what are a couple of musicals you liked? Because I’d recommend ones based on the style you prefer.
(Also, I keep trying to remember, but never can…what was your KP name?? 😛 )

@nuetrobolt I agree, lots of people are heartless. And there is a lot more evil in the world and through history than you seem to realize. People DO kill little children, and do terrible things with them. If you want me to give you a ton of historical and modern day examples, I can. Satan is definatley that cruel, and when he controls peop…[Read more]

@theresa-play
Exactly! Horror makes no sense, especially to a christian. Why would some one want to fill their mind with that kind of stuff? When I say I won’t read romance, I mean the genre itself. I’m ok with romance being a sub plot in a book, just not the main plot. You know what I mean?
You obsess over Star Wars too!? YAY
Wait……Did you…[Read more]

@theresa-play I’ve never heard of Chuck Black before but I just looked him up and his books look interesting, so it’s going into my tbr. But between you and me there’s over 100 books on that list.😋
“What do you read?” is such an open question! How to answer? Basically I’ll read anything but romance and horror.
Currently reading Star Wars “…[Read more]

@theresa-play, don’t kill her! I hate it when the little kids get killed. That just ruins a book for me. I mean I’m okay with you killing off older people, especially if they are sacrificing themselves for something, but don’t kill off the innocent little kids, especially the innocent little girl. That’s so nasty. I would never forgive you if you…[Read more]

No, I have not read those before. I’ll have to check them out. 🙂
I have read part of a couple of Lewis’ spiritual books. Is the third one The Screwtape Letters? I have read a lot of missionary stories as well. So good! As for what I have read, I don’t think I could begin to list it. At least as…[Read more]
