One more;
“Are you still wondering how such a sour old man can write such music?” Master Kenton asked wryly.
“No, sir. I’m wondering how anyone can”
This one’s a real stretch; maybe I’ll add another that’s more key to the actual story later.

So… I don’t think I know like any of the quotes I’ve seen so far, but I’m willing to jump in! 😀
Here’s a quote from one of my absolute favourite books!
No one can teach riding so well as a horse.
This one is really far-fetched… I think I read it when I was like 11 but who knows? If someone gets it I’ll be really happy!
Whenever I see her,…[Read more]

@w-o-holmes, Nice to meet you! I’m great thanks! 😀 I’m wondering if you assume that I live in Europe because of how I spell ‘favourite’? Sorry to disappoint you but I’m actually Canadian/American (I live in Alberta though). 🙁
I don’t actually write a ton of poetry but I really enjoy doing so when I have the chance. I’ll try to work on something…[Read more]

Hi, @w-o-holmes! I don’t believe we’ve met? I love this idea!!!! That’s honestly my favourite kind of poetry! Why else should poetry be read unless to evoke feelings? Well, anyway, I’ll try to work on something. I’m always busy but we’ll see what I come up with… 😀 *takes a deep breath and realizes she must seem really weird* Well… um… Nice…[Read more]

I was actually just building off the title; A small jewel in a sea of chaos. I thought that the ordinary-looking fish can suddenly be seen as something very beautiful as he fearlessly enters the darkness of the kelp forest… Just thought it’s a little out of the ordinary but there isn’t much to it… I don’t know if we could really build it into…[Read more]

IDK… Maybe a scuba diver is lost in a kelp forest… and then he sees this little fish and follows him out… hehe. I just know that kelp forests are dramatic so I thought maybe that’d work.

@literatureforthelight maybe sorta like one of the riddles where you have to figure out ‘who am I?’… Just an idea.

Okay guys, we can do this! Sorry I haven’t been around for so long, I’ve been trying to catch up on school.
Oof, this will feel really weird.
Maybe the narrator is reminding someone about something? Or telling them a story about them that they don’t already know.
Or maybe he’s talking to himself…
Just some ideas! I guess we all feel pretty confused.

This is honestly one of the best short stories I’ve read.
Also, considering that my sister’s name is Penny and she had several heart surgeries when she was very young… Wow! I LOVE it, Anne! Beautiful! -
