@deeprun Well, the quadratic equation was originally “derived” in it’s basic form by Euclid, who lived at around 300 B.C.. Before I say anything i just want to say that I totally agree with @r-m-archer ‘s response.
I actually struggled with this for a while because I was afraid any magic would feel supernatural. Especially since my Wip’s genre is Historical Urban Fantasy; at least I think it would be, it’s complicated.

Classified into? Not sure. I believe it might be speculative fiction, as that covers fantasy, a lot of sci-fi, some historical fiction, and a decent amount of horror. Here’s a really good Venn diagram I found from Annie Neugebauer (saying that so the Copyright Monster doesn’t chase after me! 😁).

Ooh, and I especially love that she likes dancing. A lot of female ‘soldier/assassin types’ don’t seem to have any room for femininity. @r-m-archer
