    @eden-anderson  @eden-anderson  Is there room under that table for one more? I’ve got pie. lol. Only wrote 331 words! I spent too much time baking, playing Minecraft, reading, ordering textbooks, drinking gallons of tea and basically everything but writing.😂

    @corkybookworm   😱That sounds heavy! So Yay! 😄👍

    @katthewriter  What you do is keep track of all the words you’ve written this week (Monday -Sunday) of all the creative things you’ve written. Then at the end of the week, you submit your final word count in the link that Daeus provided.  Good Luck!

    @cassidy  I do what I can. (╭☞ ⌐■ ◞ ■ )…

    I saw that no Rillumen members had responded yet so I thought I’d go ahead and tag y’all just in case anyone missed it.

    I’ve spent moke time baking so far this week than writing.¯_(ツ)_/¯     I will definitely try to wring a couple of hundred words out of tonight though. Does anyone have a word goal for this week?…[Read more]

    @hope-mcclellan  I know I’m super late but… Welcome!👋

    A lot of my stories take place in the middle ages too, though usually with an element of fantasy added in. What’s your favorite medieval fact?

    Oh and btw, have you ever read Don Quixote, and how do you feel about Star Wars?

  • @corkybookworm I second your reaction. WHAT?  Someone, please give the who, what, when, where and why……ok maybe not the why, but everything else.

    @wordsmith I know you’re not technically here. But Hi anyways 😃

  • lol, Neither have I. Though I wouldn’t mind going 🙂

    I’ve never read a tale of two cities, though it’s been on my tbr for years. Have you ever read Don Quixote? It’s my all-time favorite book. But I can’t seem to find anyone else who’s read and enjoyed it.¯_(ツ)_/¯

  • Hi Allison!

    Have you ever painted daisies on a big red rubber ball?

    I’ve never heard of “The Ilyon Chronicles” but I love seeing people favorites, so I’ll go check it out.

    Also a homeschool grad here. *high-fives*

    I like hugs as well, but I don’t really play an instrument unless you can count the drum which I learn on and off.

    Do you read classics?

  • (( I may have forgotten about this for a while, my apologies. Do they usually go this slow?  Also sorry for making this so long, I kinda got carried away and couldn’t bring myself to shorten it.))

    @elizabeth No offense but ………… I absolutely DESPISE “The Last Jedi” with a burning passion that can not, and will never, die out.

    But hey, to each their own.乁(ᴗ◞ ᴗ)ㄏ

    “Return of the Jedi” is great, it’s my third favorite.  🙂 Though my favorite is “The Phantom Menace”.

  • Violet replied to the topic Hello! in the forum Introduce Yourself 2 years ago

    Hi, @elizabeth I remember you!

    I didn’t know you like Star Wars! Who’s your favorite main character, and who’s your favorite background character? Which movie do you like best?………… I am a huge Star Wars fan…..In case you didn’t know. lol

    You say you’re a geek, what exactly do you geek out over? For me, it’s Star Wars!

  • Violet replied to the topic Where is everyone? in the forum Announcements 2 years ago

    @nuetrobolt   I know I’ve been very inactive lately. Not for a lack of interest though. I just have my time divided between a lot of things right now.🙃

    @corkybookworm  @missfaeriekaiti   I wasn’t notified either. The only reason I did know about the word war is that I subscribed to the topic. Which is what I would recommend everyone else do so y…[Read more]

  • Loved the inclusion of “It’s a Wonderful Life”.

    Natural outcomes is sometimes hard for me. Like what’s natural? People getting what they deserve; sowing what they reap? Or, bad people sometimes getting away and good people getting hurt? I personally think it’s a mixture of both, on earth anyways. We all get our dues after death. How do you…[Read more]

  • I’ve been waiting for this article, and it’s great! It really got me to thinking about my protagonist and his struggles.

    I’ve never heard the defamiliarization concept before. I want to make my story an allegory, but am stuck on the right way to go about it. I’ll be sure to look more into this.

  • @taylorclogston    I had no idea there was so many points supporting this.
    Though I have heard of the concept before.
    My brother actually mentioned that to me a while back. But he didn’t give any facts he just kept laughing and saying “Jar-Jar’s a SITH!” 😄

  • @his-bard   I agree, Disney was definitely a step backward for Star Wars. The only one I like is “Rogue One”. which I was pleasantly surprised with.

    While I do want an Obi-wan Kenobi movie (he’s one of my favorite characters), I have a bad feeling they’d just butcher it.

    Why would everything Jarjar’s fault? lol, I know most people HATE him. Bu…[Read more]
