I was originally talking about the MC having amnesia–but I’m cool with fleshing out whatever idea we settle on.
As for the MC being the culprit, it’s a cool idea and I think we could definitely make it work! Though, I have seen it a couple times before… What if we we set it up to make it look like MC did it (have the…[Read more]

Big families are wonderful–though yes, chaotic too! It’s especially hard when trauma is involved (I know a lot about the foster care system if anyone ever needs knowledge hmu) but I have never seen God’s amazing power more than now, as we go through everyday life. 🙂 It’s honestly the best thing in the world and I wouldn’t change…[Read more] -

I joined a couple days ago, actually! So, I’m still very fresh to the whole ‘guild’ thing. So far, it’s super cool and I’m so glad I joined! Everyone’s super nice. 🙂
Yeah, I’ve heard that she did that! Perhaps we should take our favorite bits of all three. Build the story backwards so we have a little bit of shock factor and tension,…[Read more]

Oh! Okay, thank you! That makes a lot more sense. 🙂
I don’t believe we’ve met yet. Yes, I’m new to the guild! 🙂 It’s nice to meet you!
It sounds like you know your mystery stuff! ^_^ I personally haven’t read a lot of mystery. But all those examples you gave have me really interested to go and discover those…[Read more]

@germaine-han I’m sorry I’m still a little confused, but let me see if I have this right.</p>
So basically we all talk about the prompt and figure out details for it, and then write one story as a group? Is that right? Or do we figure out the details we want and then each write a story with those details? Thanks so much for helping me out ^_^

Can someone quickly explain the prompts to me? Is it something we collectively write together or do we take the prompt and write it ourselves? I’m a little confused.
But, as for mysteries, I love those! I find murder mysterious are over-written, personally. I found this article on 7 tips for writing Mystery Genre’s.…[Read more]

Oof that’s a mood. Though, finishing pieces and works is something in actively striving towards this year. 🙂
Wow! Crysti sounds awesoooome! I love characters that have obvious flaws, since that usually means they must overcome them at some point. ^_^
As for one of my characters? Hmmm lemme think. Probably my…[Read more]

hehe, thanks! It’s been difficult, keeping on track. Finishing works has never been my ah, strong suite. 😛 In fact, it’s so bad I hadn’t finished anything (short story, novel, prompts) for probably 5 years–up until last week when I had a friend find a short story I was working on and demand an ending. XDOoooh! Realistic…[Read more]

haha! Daw, thanks! ^_^ I was there when the great pineapple-on-pizza war began and have held my solid opinion on the matter. Ironically enough, my family went out for pizza tonight and my traitor of a sister looked me straight in the eyes and ordered pineapple’s as a topping XD She’s a riot! So, the story behind my username is…[Read more]

Aaah, thanks everyone for the great advice! I think your idea’s about 1. Writing it down solidly and 2. having someone to bounce idea’s off of are great! ^_^ I’ll for sure start doing those and see how they work out!

Aw! They sound so super cute! ^_^ Especially Zane! I love it when characters become more fun and start to sort of charge their own path in stories, therefore changing it for the better. 🙂

Hey guys!
I adore hearing about other people’s characters that they’ve created. From villains, to heroes, to side characters, ect! I love hearing about how they were created and how they took their own shape, or even if they decided to snatch your story and run for the hills!
Tell me about some of your favorites/the one’s you hold close to your hearts!

@pensword Thanks! That’s actually really good advice. I realize now I was starting to edit more than actually write the scenes I need to write/rewrite the scenes I wanted to rewrite due to essential plot points and world building. And I was starting to comb over the sentences with a fine toothed comb like “no… it’s not *perfect*…” So, the…[Read more]
