Ya’ll, it’s time to put that inner critic away and write like there’s no tomorrow! It doesn’t matter if its good, it doesn’t matter if you keep anything you write this week, it doesn’t even matter if you only contribute 10 words because that is 10 words we wouldn’t have had if you hadn’t written anything! This week is about creativity and flow! :D…[Read more]

NOICE!
And that’s so cool! What was the story about if you don’t mind me asking? 🙂 And yeah, I was thinking about that. Really I just need to like… focus. which is hard.

@sam-m Ooooo, Blade sounds interesting!
Would you rather have skin that changes (bright) colors with your emotions or always have music playing around you (without an outside source and other people can hear it) that relates to your thoughts?
Aiden: As a professional thief, these are both terrible options. But–I would probably go with the…[Read more]

Does “Disaster Child” count? Cause… that pretty much applies to every single one of my characters. XD

wait then what’s your name on the chat? XD
I am planning on publishing it one day. Not sure if I’ll go the self route or try to get it truly published. If I ever finish any of my ideas, I want to try to publish them, lol ^_^ But, then comes the problem of actually uh… finishing it.

Hey, are you on the google hangouts group chat? ^_^
And yeah, after responding to this I got bit by the writing bug and wrote over a thousand words so XD I’m doing alright. I’m actually really excited about what I wrote. It’s a project I’ve been working on for a long time now, probably three or four years.
Basically, it’s a…[Read more]

Honestly, I’ve been super busy and medically wise I haven’t been the best either, so writing hasn’t gotten done at all for like, a month solid now. Then again, I’m so bad when it comes to writing cause like… I love writing, right? But I’m also super creative in other areas, and sometimes I know I should write, but I end…[Read more]

Ooooo! It was really fascinating! I felt the overall tone in the beginning gave it a very foreboding feeling, at least to me, that quickly turned to hope. Gary is so sweet and you can’t help but to fall in love with him and his goofy shyness around his wife.
I was a little confused with all the scene changed and where they were happening, but…[Read more]

Hey guys! I was just thinking about the discussion @ethryndal started about villains and all the unique responses got me to thinking about different conversations we could have. Ergo, here is one to start!
What makes your favorite character your favorite character? What traits, goals, characteristics do those characters have in common or not have…[Read more]

@raemarie I’m so sorry I just saw this! You have a vlog? I do too! It’s mostly just about my family and the adventures we go on (living with 11 other people = lots of adventures XD)
How is your fanfiction collection coming along?
Writing for me has been… heh… non-existent lately.
@italian-stallion How has writing been going for you?

Noodle-Mum replied to the topic The Elements of an Eerie Antagonist – what makes a villain frightening? in the forum New Wessex Writing Discussions 2 years, 9 months ago
ooooh, this is a good discussion.
For me, there hasn’t ever really been a villain I’ve read that’s terrified me to my core in the sense of ‘that person is terrifying’. It’s more terrified me to my core with a ‘what the heck is he going to do?’ type of fear. So, situational fear. Let me explain.
When the Villain finds out a secret about the Hero…[Read more]

@msqueen8 I think those are all the details we have, yes.
@germaine-han I love that idea! Because then, it would be extremely unique giving him TGA since it’s usually (but not always) in middle aged men! Having a young, high-spirited, college student held back by TGA would make for a very interesting twist!
As for names, I was thinking of…[Read more]

Hey ya’ll, we’re pretty inactive on here, but I wanted to make efforts to really get to know everyone on here. So, what can I pray for you guys? 🙂
I’ll start us off:

Oooh, this is cool! I like the idea of having accountability like this! 🙂
@italian-stallion
Perhaps start with a word count slightly above what you know you can for sure hit, and see how it goes. Like, for example. Say you know you can hit 1,000 words in a single week. I’d set the goal for maybe 1,500. To push yourself slightly above what you’re…[Read more] -
