Ohh…. Lots of fantasy-writing people over here. Bet we can find a few dragons and unseen creatures somewhere here. 🙂
While I do not want to offend anyone (farthest thing from my mind, really)…is there anyone in SE who writes in other fiction genres besides fantasy/dystopian/sci-fic? Like stories with actual people in reality, something like…[Read more]

Stay on SE, @ariel-ashira. I’m starting to like you. 🙂
How long have you been writing? I started when I was fourteen/fifteen–around my birthday, if I remember correctly.
I like singing too–love it, in fact. But nothing could take the place of writing. NEVER!!
Am I good, @daeus-lamb ?
Just making sure…

Uh..@kayla-joy…I just have a few thoughts that I hope could help with your problem. I’ve been struggling with something similar a while ago.
I’ll dare to say that nine years apart is not too stretchy for a romantic interest. I’ve known “real live couples” who are eleven years or more apart in age. And personally, I think romance adds a spice…[Read more]
@brandon-miller. Thanks for setting up this thread.
This had been something that I’ve been thinking about for the past few weeks, maybe months.
You see, I’m one of those “Conservative Christians” who do not read nor write fantasy. And yes, I am skeptical of Christians who write Fantasy. Sci-fic is just over the raised-eyebrow-line for me, as are…[Read more]

I write poetry as well!!
I’ve posted a few of them on my blog, so go ahead and check that out!!
I write poetry when I’m feeling down or up. I rarely write poetry just for the fun of it–there’s usually a story behind every poem I write. Loneliness, happiness, lovesickness, you name it.
Okay.. I’ll give it a try.
1. How do I develop great characters?
2. Why do people like to read/write fiction?
3. Should I plan then write, or write and outline afterwards?
Not sure if that’s what you’re looking for…
Hope that helps!!
Okay. I finally dug up enough courage to actually go along with my own thready… 🙂
I am writing in the Military Fiction/Thriller genre. Why? Because it’s my favorite genre nowadays. Perhaps that would change with time, but for now… that’s how things stand. Why is that my fav genre? I love the armed forces, the political thrills and…[Read more]
So.. Just for fun.
What genre(s) of stories, books and stuff, in general, do y’all write in? And why?
What influenced you to write in that particular genre?
(some brave soul–or Sparky Emberling–can start us off… )
Rolena, I would probably choose a horse IF I did not have to pay for it, clean the stalls, you name it. If I had to pay for one, it would probably be a cat. What about you?
Sam, yes!! That’s what I am finding out. I thought I was so alone plowing through my WIPs, trying to be the writer God wants and…[Read more]
I like your name. 🙂
Thanks for popping over to my blog!!
(Oops…I did not realize that…ahh…okay. I’m not in trouble, am I?) Thanks so much!! Can’t wait to be part of KP!!
My favorite book for now is The Trident Deception by Rick Campbell. I totally love that book!! It was great as a research tool for my novel as well.
Yes, I guess I’m new. This is all new and exciting!! (psst.. I’m not on KP. Not yet. Something did not work out when I tried to sign up.)
Er…I’m not sure which MBTI type I am. Every time I do the test thingys, the results change. But it should be safe to say that I’m an extrovert. And.. that’s about it.
Thanks for stopping…[Read more]
I’m very excited to be able to join a writer’s forum…this is absolutely fantastic!! An answer to prayer, actually. 🙂
So..a bit of introduction. I am a Canadian, Christian young lady who loves to sing, dance, and eat healthy, delicious foods. I am a homeschooled-highschooler.
I’m a thriller novelist, working on my first submarine…[Read more]
