@nuetrobolt sadly, no one critiqued it to my knowledge :-/ But we got it submitted!!
@Brandon-miller Yay!!! I’m so glad we got it submitted! AND I’m so glad that you like it 🙂 I enjoyed getting to share my experience, in a way. Now, to wait!

@graceabounds, sorry, I wasn’t able to come on here until now, and now its too late. I liked the third draft, though I wasn’t expecting it to be so different. Did anyone get a chance to comment and critique it before it was submitted? It didn’t look like it. Did we get it submitted even?

Draft 3 is posted! I still feel like it needs work (which is good because we still have 4 days). Anyone care to chime in with some new comments/suggestions?
Also, I may not be able to work on this much after Thursday as I have a busy weekend ahead.

YES! So excited! Quick question @brandon-miller: do we just introduce our character in a scene before the crash AND give a couple of details like last time (age, build, background, etc.) or just do the scene?

@graceabounds2129, nice! Thanks for helping to catch us up! I really like it.
Does anyone know for sure when the deadline is? Is it really Sunday night? Because, if so, we are way behind. @brandon-miller? @daeus-lamb?

@graceabounds2129 I think we should try to do something with the doves, or something similar. And thanks for creating the schedule, but has anyone done any of it, because according to your schedule we should be editing right now??? Where’s our doc?
@e_elaine_soup5 you’re not suggesting we use that, are you? Anyone on the forum could have read it…[Read more]

@brandon-miller Thanks! It’s not over yet, so hopefully I can keep it up! Ought to have had a world war to contribute to! 😂
Well, it wasn’t an official YWW conference through Brett or Jaquelle, but three students organized a gathering of YDubers and the other three instructors were able to make it, which was super cool. It was absolutely…[Read more]

@brandon-miller Tomorrow’s the end of the fourth week and I haven’t missed a day yet! Well, except for the very first day because I discovered the challenge the evening it started. It’s definitely been a challenge some days, but I think it’s also been a great way to start developing my consistency muscles. Writing even a few hundred words a day…[Read more]

@brandon-miller First of all, I only went to watch Endgame cause my students threatened to spoil it for me. Otherwise, I had planned to wait until it came out so I didn’t have to pay to go to the theaters XD That said, I think my experience was a little tainted by some slight resentment. I almost felt bullied into watching the movie rather than…[Read more]

Brink replied to the topic Traditional vs Self Publishing in the forum Announcements 4 years, 9 months ago
@rolena-hatfield I had always planned on first trying traditional, and then self if that didn’t work, but I’m not sure about that after reading this. I didn’t know much about publishing, but I always planned on worrying about that when I’m ready to write a book.
@brandon-miller, thanks for sharing! This was super informative!
