From what I understand (don’t just go off of me though because I am also unsure), it is okay to send queries out to a handful of agents/publishers at a time, but common courtesy is that only one agent/publisher gets your full manuscript at the time. So, if you query three agents and one gets back right away asking to see more, you…[Read more]

Wow, that’s a horrible way to watch such a climactic movie. I’m sorry for your loss, @corkybookworm.
I kind of have the same thoughts about Thor. I was okay with the fat Thor thing because it seemed to me to be a human (if really poor) way of dealing with grief. But yes, it bugged me because he never pulled out of it. It also bugged me because my…[Read more]

@everyone
Ro had a great point. Steve Laube’s blog is basically the font of wisdom for anyone looking to go the traditional publishing route. Check it out here: https://stevelaube.com/blog/
I’m hoping to get traditionally published some day. Part of it is honestly just that I want that accomplishment on my record. Part of it is that I want the…[Read more]

@graceabounds2129 The job is great! I’m building a patio this week and that’s been fun. (Also, lifting all those bricks makes my hands hurt lol, but hey I’m gonna have a mean handshake when it’s all said and done!)

Hi guys,
I think there is an Endgame topic somewhere out on the general forum… but that’s a long ways from here AND WE NEED OUR OWN.
SPOILER WARNING: Everything here is a spoiler. JUST ASSUME. You read past this point, the Endgame will be spoiled.
(Has anybody seen it? Does anyone want to talk about it?)
Instead of gushing about all the…[Read more]

Hey guys
It’s been a while since I posted one of these (or anything, really) but when I saw what Jane from Meraki had cooked up (along with help from Daeus and Faith), I had to make sure to share it. If you’re trying to decide whether you want to pursue traditional or self publishing, it’s your lucky week.
Self Publishing vs Traditional…[Read more]

HELLO
I have… sort of… returned.
BUT I HAVE A DATE. (no no, not that kind of date)
Do y’all want do know a date? A date is 6/24/19. Not a day sooner. Not *fingerscrossed* a day later. On THAT date, there will be a new lounge. So get your characters ready to… be characters!
Looking forward to it!

Wow. That’s a lot to handle.
I really liked to situational irony and Mara having no idea what was going on. But also BRENNAN SHOULD HAVE TOLD HER WHAT WAS UP. (I mean, not really that would have destroyed the conflict but… I wanted him too.) I do wonder why he didn’t, though. Was he injured doing something he shouldn’t have been doing? And…[Read more]
