By the way for those of you who are curious, this is what Brendin looks like:

Cathy, that sounds amazing!!! What do you mean bad idea?

Well, truth be told I say all my ideas bad and say ‘I don’t know what I’m doing’ to myself whenever I have to do anything even vaguely unfamiliar so I don’t over-analyze and become stress-paralyzed. It’s my way of letting go of perfectionism, be like ‘it’s a bad idea but I’m gonna do it anyway’ attitude and that frees me to actually just be me. I’m glad you guys liked it!

“Respectfully, sir, you are a ignominious liar.”

I laughed aloud. Thank you for that Cathy!

Ha yeah, his frank manner never really endeared him to all the high-borns, nobles and politicians he’s had to talk to over the years (:
And for Nithel it should be interesting to see Alessio broach the subject 🙂
Also I like how he actually just sees his reflection in the mirrors and the flame, it makes him even more interesting 🙂

Thanks! His appearance and voice are based on Garrett Hedlund (the picture is of Hedlund from the movie Mojave, which I haven’t actually seen…)

Also I might throw Bren in the villain castle if Rowan ends up leaving…

Another stranger, he looked and felt like fire,

You really have no idea how true this is…

Erm, can you post some description for Avatus please? That way we know what he looks like so we can write him accurately. 🙂 Thx!

The picture is actually the owl form of a wereowl side character in my urban fantasy story (her name is Cyrene Alistair and she works as a barista in a coffee shop run by Nicolas Flamel).

Lol basically me! Btw I’d love to have you join! Though I know you already did lol!

Okay! Well, I don’t mind still talking to Dharin! Just for the rest of the castle, I needed to replace him.

I will bring in someone new soon!

Sorry for not putting this sooner, I just hadn’t been able to get to it.

My character, Avatus, is a large male who appears to be in his early forties.  He has short blonde hair and a short beard (I’ve pictured him to look similar to Captain America in infinity war if that helps). He has dark blue eyes and is built like a football player (American football in case that needs clearing up). He wears mail armor with plate pauldrons, greaves, and gauntlets, and wears a longsword on his left hip. He also wears a dark blue surcoat with the a pair of white wings emblazoned on it.  Upon closer inspection one might see a small gold necklace with a pendant of the same design, and a similar pendant (this time in silver) is attached to his scabbard. We wears a silver ring on his left ring finger as well.

Heh, I love how in all the other posts Alessio’s been ‘his friend’ but now he’s ‘his charge’ like “you are an impulsive kid and I need to mom-friend you now.”
