I got you swordsmen (and women) in mind. In CQB, range of weapons become less important. Reflexes and speed are the name of the game. Klein will go to a rooftop and establish overwatch to get an idea of how many targets there are. He will try to cut down some of them but the urban environment will create many blind spots. Spots covered by remaining fighters.The Devil saw me with my head down and got excited. Then I said Amen

She’s really scared. For a second there I thought she would kill me but I think she’d kill anything that came near me here. This place is cracking up I think we’re gonna die. Does it just crack up at midnight?
Before I can think it Rosario yanks me by the arm and spins me up the next flight of stairs. She’s…really strong. Wow she’s strong…Ack! Wait! Stay focused!
On trying not to trip on the steps she’s propelling me up..?
“What happens if we’re still here by midnight…?” My only reply is nearly skidding off a couple stairs while Rosario jerks me kinda? steady. Miss Monster Lord Castle Marsha good grief we’re all gonna die! “Hey! I still have two questions! What happens if we’re still here by midnight? Are we stuck here?!”

11:50 pmIf he expected anyone to answer no one did. We’re up a flight, two seconds flat. Chale. Stairs crumbling below us but I can still hear him mumbling.
“I still have two questions unless something changed… that’s the rules…”
Next flight. And what’s there…
“You have got to be joking.” I say and swear in Spanish.
In front of us, the only door out just opens to the abyss outside. You can look out and you can’t see any ground below it. Just a thin, broken bridge like a skeleton. From this side to another tower and this one’s crumbling. You can hardly see it in the frigid night, wire-thin trail of silver railing. Then I realize it’s not just a bridge. I should’ve recognized it sooner.
It’s the Bridge.
“Rosy?” I almost don’t hear his voice, but it’s there. “I think I remember now.”To be a light to the world you must shine in the darkness.

Thank you so much!! Yes, I did, it’s one of my more recent drawings! Well… I don’t know yet XD I’m working on a series of drawings about her and she fascinates me XD She might get a short story or she might end up in my next project! All I know is she’s really cool!

I think I’ll have to step away from this for the time being. I’m busy with senior year (I cannot wait to be DONE) and I want to devote more time to other writing projects. Thanks for inviting Torsten into the castle, but you all can feel free to move onto the next part of the story without him. 🙂

So, I think the character castle is probably a lot less active now. I’m not sure how many characters you’re already familiar with, so I’ll just give you a quick overview 🙂
Ok, so right now we have Ferran and Liorah, who belong to @rose-colored-fancy
They’re from a medieval north-African fantasy setting
There’s also Klein, who belongs to @rusted-knight
He’s a super-soldier from a sci-fi setting
Those are the oldest characters, so you might be familiar with them already 🙂
Then, we have @noah-cohcran’s character Hugon, who is completely awful but in the best way possible. He is short (?) and blond, and very sarcastic and nasty to everyone. I love him though. I think he comes from a fantasy setting, but I’m not sure
@everyone feel free to supplement my descriptions of your characters – I’m not doing a very good job here lol.
And then there’s my character, Misu. He is an angel in disguise, and he appears to be Chinese. He has long black hair and light blue robes, and he wields two swords. He’s from a dystopian fantasy 🙂
Right now, everyone just got attacked by these giant wolf creatures that bleed green blood, and the room everyone’s in just turned into an urban setting 🙂

Okay, Thwap (I never actually knew your (pen)name was Catherine and it feels very weird to think of you as Catherine instead of Thwapling but I’ll try XD)
You know Liorah well, and Ferran a little, and Klein, Gwen, and the others. (Joelle pulled out, as you may know, so Riure isn’t around) And for the rest, Calidris already introduced them so we’re good to go!
