Aliree: I’d rather die with my loved ones. Reunion in death is far more tolerable than separation for an earthly eternity.
Would your character rather kiss a frog to break a curse, or have to become the frog to break the curse?
I do not write the story... the Universe writes the story and I am simply its messenger.

Bash: Um. Well my work as a reporter is pretty important to me. Don’t think I could do it very well as a frog, so I’d have to say I’d kiss the frog.
Grayson: Oooh. I’ll become a frog. Being a frog would be a great cover, and it might be fun for a little while. *shrugs*
River: uh. I’ll be the frog. Life would be a whole lot simpler that way. No one would have to notice me.

*Pokes head in at the door* “Hello, dusty old room! I got the invite!” *ushers in Jim and Tisha, who wipe their boots and take seats* *Zach (my newest charrie) strides in with a charming smile and shows Megyn to her seat, making her laugh at his jokes*
Me: “Okay, okay. Here we go-”

Tisha: “If I could switch from my frog form to my human form freely, I’d become the frog. It be a great cover. Otherwise, I’d rather stay human.”
Megyn: “I want to do whatever it takes to break the curse, no matter what. Since I have a choice, though, I think I’d rather kiss the frog.”
Jim: *Looks awkward* “I’ll become the frog.”

Zach: “Oh, Actor, for sure!”
Tisha: “Eh-” *Considers a moment* “To be honest, I’d rather not be famous at all. Fame and fortune have many pitfalls, tripwires and strings attached, so to speak. But, I suppose I would go with YouTuber. I’d have more freedom to use my creativity and passion to God’s glory.”
Megyn: *smiles* *fist bumps Tisha* “I agree with that 100%!”
Jim: “Don’t know anythin’ about movies and actin’. Don’t know a lick about YouTube either.”
Me: *clicks tongue with sympathy* “Yeah, neither of these good for you, are they? I’ll give you pass on this one.”

Megyn: “I would agree with them, though my death would hurt them. But they’d be more at peace knowing I’m in heaven and at rest, than not knowing where I am or what is happening to me.”

Brycen: Loved ones? I’ve never really had a family, unless you count my fellow thieves. I suppose Tali is alright. Honestly, I’d have to go with changing my identity.
Rune: Peaceful life and death for sure! I never get a moment’s rest, and it would be nice just to see my family again.
Amara: Hmmm… Well, if I changed my identity, could I reveal it to a chosen few, or would that ruin it? I need time to experiment.
Kissing frog vs. becoming frog:
Brycen: I’d become the frog, obviously. Think how easy it would be to run from angry merchants as a frog!
Rune: Ew, no kissing a frog for me. I’d have to become one. Do you get annoying visions as a frog?
Amara: Become a frog? Yuck. Definitely going to have to just kiss it and get it over with.

Brycen: Oh, man, definitely the youtuber. I would make a horrible actor, just ask Tali.
Rune: Actor. Definitely actor. I do it all the time in my visions.
Amara: Um, neither? Talking or acting in front of people is really not my thing.

Bash: I’d hold back the gift. People already have so many gifts and they usually waste them.
Gray: I’d give the gift anyway. As long as they are happy when I give it to them, what they do after that ain’t my problem.
River: *bites his lip* I’ll give the gift. Even if they don’t use it, maybe someone they know can.

Gray: Dragon! No question. Dragon. Not sure how it would benefit my life, but it would be super cool and I really don’t want to see what tortures await me. *glares at author*
River: Be able to see the future. I don’t think I’d make a very good dragon. And I want to know if I’ll ever make friends.

Brycen: Oh, definitely my face. This scar isn’t as cool as it looks, everybody.
Rune: Height for sure. I’m much too short to face adults in sword fighting, and being taller would make it a whole lot easier.
Amara: I think I’ll stay how I am. I mean, being tall and short both have their advantages, so I wouldn’t be able to choose there. As for my face, I’m pretty okay with it.
*everyone claps as new character enters the room*
Hawkwing: Ahem. *thinks intensely for a couple of minutes* I suppose, being a dragon and all, that I’d have to go with height. Then I can tower over all the other dragons, even Blackhorn!

Lol even my less-than-savory characters veer less selfish than that, but they all have different nuances, sooo…
Sashal: Oh, die to keep someone alive! I… I don’t think I could kill someone… *goes a bit pale*
Daya: I don’t have any friends, so it’s a useless question.
Milo: *gives him a long look*
Daya: You’re my brother, that doesn’t count. What kind of a question is this, anyway? What situation would require me to die to keep a friend alive, that wouldn’t also be solved by killing whoever’s putting us in this situation?
Me: It’s theoretical.
Daya: I kill the killer. Final answer.
Me: You’ll have to excuse him, he’s a bit of a blockhead.
Milo: *holding Daya back* I would avoid killing if at all possible. I’m not afraid to die if it’s for a good cause.

Sashal: *presses knuckles to her lips* Ohhh that’s a hard one… colors add so much to my dances, but music does, too…
Me: Sashal, honey, I’m pretty sure you’ve only ever heard your country’s traditional music… that only counts as one genre…

Daya: Color. I don’t really care much about colors, but I’d rather not have to deal with bad music.
