Would you rather know thirty languages fluently or be a math adn science genius?
Teagen: ‘Thirty languages definitely. That would,’ His chest expands in wander, ‘be amazing?’
Lawrence: ‘The genius.’
Teagen: *snickers* ‘You would.’
Waneebi: ‘I didn’t even know there were that many languages!’ *mind spinning, eyes dazzled, and jaw slightly open* Then he comes to himself a few seconds later, ‘Then again, I would likely never be able to use the knowledge of so many tongues. I would gain math and science, for then I might be able to overthrow Jones.’ And take over the island for himself, and perhaps squash Zicari to the dirt. To bad the foreigner’s son had already died…
Elsie: ‘Uh,’ *itches her left ankle with her right toes* ‘The languages I guess. Do I get to pick them? It would help to know these people’s language without having to work for it.’
Zicari: *smiles knowingly at the side of Elsie’s face* ‘If I were to leave the island I would pick languages. But I am staying,’ *looks into Elsie’s eyes, but refrains from destroying what little hope she had of escape…* ‘I would do as Waneebi said. It might help us take down this dictator.’
Lucky: *snorts* ‘All you boys’ blind bravado..’
Zicari: *looks at Lucky a second, brows lifted (Zicari’s humor was slowly returning as Kia’s death slowly became farther and further past) Are you saying I wouldn’t fight for my people?
Omaru: *face tightens* ‘You know not what you speak of,’ the youth, yet husband and father struck his chest, ‘We have fought and died for such. It is not vain, or blind.’
Zicari: *met his comrade’s eyes and gave a message* If you beat a fool, he will only gain sores, not a soul. That must be experienced.
Omaru: *shoulders slouched,* ‘I would choose as Zicari.’ *his eyes lit like fire. Some had tried to take Zicari’s life…it almost always started with baseless insults. Lucky couldn’t be trusted* ‘What would you choose master Looky?’
Lucky: *bushy gray brows lift* ‘The languages.’ *He then began picking his white, though crooked teeth, with a grubby nail.*

Alan: “Uhh . . . I don’t know . . . if it’s something silly or something that you don’t like about me, then you can lie to me, sure. But if it’s something important, then don’t lie to me.
Rob: “The truth.”
Jim: *nods* “Always.”
Megyn: *nods* “Yes, even if it is very uncomfortable, please tell me the truth.”
Would you rather be able to see 10 minutes into your own future or 10 minutes into the future of anyone but yourself?
Dayton: *thinks a moment* “I would rather see into my own future. It would be helpful to know.”
Alan: “Uhh . . . it depends. I mean, being able to know my own future would be good so I can be prepared for whatever I’m going to do. But being able to know someone else’s future would be good to so I can help them out if they were getting into trouble. *thinks* “I can pretty much know what I am going to do anyway. I’ll see someone else’s future.”
Rob: “What happens to me is of little consequence. I’d rather know someone else’s future.”
Jim: *thinking* “Guess I’d rather know my know future.”
Megyn: “I think I’d rather know someone else’s future.”

Dayton: *quickly* “Colorblind. I need my sense of smell.”
Alan: *thoughtfully* “Might be nice not having to smell smoke anymore . . . I think I’ll go with that. ”
Rob: *expressionlessly* “I can lose my sense of taste.”
Jim: “Don’t really care . . . but I guess I’ll be colorblind.”
Megyn: “Eh, this isn’t easy . . . I guess I could go colorblind. I could still remember the colors.”

Dayton: *blinks, then snorts* “I’d rather go back to age five! My life will turn out far better if I knew then what I know now!”
Alan: “Uhh . . . going back to five knowing everything I know now would spoil the whole idea of being five again! I’ll know everything I’ll ever know instead.”
Rob: *expressionlessly again* “I’ll have to agree with Miss Dayton.”
Dayton: *gives him ‘the daggers’ look*
Jim: *swallows* “I – I rather go back too.”
Megyn: *sighs* “I don’t know if I could as a five-year-old handle knowing everything I do now. I’ll know everything I’ll ever learn.”

Rob: *raises eyebrow at Alan* “Though being a math/science genius would be nice, I think for my client’s sake being able to speak the thirty languages would be better.”
Jim: “Math and science.”
Megyn: *decidedly* “The languages, for sure. There are some that I’ve always wanted to master.”

Dayton: *snorts* “Would rather leave a mark on the world, but if it’s only in something negative, I’d rather be forgotten.”
Alan: *mumbles to himself* “You’ve already left a negative mark on my world.” *clears throat loudly* “Uhh . . . guess I’d rather be forgotten. I don’t want to be known as a bad person.”
Rob: “Likewise.”

Nicole: “No,” Takes a deep breath, and looks away, though sitting pushed up against her husband. “My memories.” Glances back up to Greg (her husband), “Of you know what.”
Greg: looks down and nodds. “If only,” *Memories of his mistakes starting to scratch his chest, though Nicole never holds it against him…*
Darick: “Erase other’s memories.” His daughter’s. (Nicole)

Nicole: *Averts her gaze a second, then retracts her hand and looks Greg straight in the eyes as well, “I would want you to be happy. Unless,.. the happiness would kill you.”
Greg: *Chin lifts, but his pupils stay on her. He nods, saying no more words, except through his eyes.*
Darick: “What Nicole said.”

Jordan: The ability to move things with my mind. Definitely. Telepathy would be torture.
(She can already tell whenever people lie, which she considers to be as misfortune).
Judah: Uh…I think I’d have to go with telepathy. Jordan gives him a look and he shrugs. It would just make finding him a lot easier.
(He’s hunting down the crime boss that murdered his parents).
Lauren: Telekinesis. Obviously. It would just be super useful for self-defense, helping others, and just, you know, doing life.
Kaz: Rubbing the back of his neck… I wish I could have both. I’d choose telekinesis.
Travis: As pragmatic as rearranging furniture with my brain would be, I would choose telepathy. Obviously.
Frankie: I would go with telekinesis. Looking into other people’s heads isn’t as fantastic as it sounds. (She’s a profiler). Besides…you could do so much with telekinesis.
Dante: You know what? Crossing his arms… I choose both.

Megyn: *nods in agreement.* “It would depend on the context of the situation. Sometimes I’ve found that it’s better to be ignored or not noticed by certain types of people.”

Mihael: “I would…” She bites her lips, looking over to her husband. “I’d be alone.” Gabrel is a silent man…
Gabrel: He nods, “I as well.” He glances to her, before getting back to whittling.
Elia: “Corban would be the talker…he can’t be quiet.” The sister looked over to her three-year-old brother. But, “I would be with him.”
Corban: He grins, and claps, “Be wid sissy!”
Nasiin: “I would be alone.” For one is truly never alone. Not when one can see the heavens. He glances to Nithel. The Star Breather had given him a larger heart. A heart for people. Then he glanced to his daughter, Well, He gave me one too…
Carace: “I would…” be alone. No… with someone…. noooooo…. “I would be with someone.” Though it would drive me mad.

Nasiin: Looks at Nithel with longing. If only I was more like him… “I would fake my death.”
Ratul: He makes his eyes bug, snapping his fingers and pointing to his father, like it’s the most genius of ideas.

Gabrel: He looks to his little girl, then his wife’s frail form. I would let them know. “I as well.” But the crop? That is why I am no revolutionary. He looks to Nithel.
Elia and Corban: Messing around, not paying attention.
Gabrel: Eyes steely, “I would fake their deaths for them.”
Mihael: And go to jail because of it…
Avigail: “I would…” fake my death. And fail miserably. Getting life in prison likely… “Um,”
Ratul: Grins at his sister, “I’d bring you flowers.”
Avigail: Glowers at him, “I would…”
Ratul: Leans forward, “Yes?”
Nasiin: “Leave your sister alone.”
Avigail: “I…would go to prison.”
Nithel: Eyes sad, Someone would go with you. Someone else would have done something. You would have not done it on your own.

Erik: “Vision, obviously. Even if you’re in the dark you can tell what’s going on, or who’s sneaking up behind you.”
Ky: “I’d lose my vision.”
Laurel: “Vision as in seeing? Or as in your hopes?”

Ky: “Never speak again. Actions can speak as loud as words, but you guys don’t want to know everything that goes on in my head.”
Erik: “Is that even a question? I already say everything that pops into my head, so nothing would change.” *looks at Ky* “It probably help sometimes if you said more of what’s in your big head.”
Laurel: *elbows Erik* “I wouldn’t want to speak. It’s easier to learn sign-language than to always think nice things.” *laughs*
