@thewirelessbladeFavorite Book series: Left Behind
This is an awesome book series. Hands down the best series I’ve ever read. Makes all those YA fiction books look like… A nice term for lame.
Favorite Movies:
I liked The Greatest Showman (who didn’t!?) and The Dark Knight Trilogy. Both are great.
How about you?

@samuelMy favorite book series is probably the Cloak of the Light trilogy by Chuck black, or the Paradise trilogy by Ted Dekker… I can’t decide which.
Movies…Marvel. The Captain America branch is really good, but I like Ant Man too…Pretty much any Marvel movie, but Infinity War, Ant Man and Civil War probably top the charts.
And Bourne. Ohhhhh Bourne.
No one reads these anyway

@jane-mareeBooks: anything by Nadine Brandes, The Songkeeper Chronicles (Gillian Bronte Adams), The Story Peddler (Lindsay A. Franklin), The Mission League (Jill Williamson)…And Narnia and LotR, of course. And a lot of other things.
For movies…I think Spiderman: Homecoming was one of the best I’ve watched in a while. Also CA: The Winter Solider. And Wonder Woman.
Wow, that makes it sound like I only watch Superhero movies. xD
I also really liked the live re-action of Cinderella (2015), and Tangled will always be epic.

@gabriellepollackBook-wise I’d have to echo @jane-maree about the Out of Time Series series. The Mission League is pretty good, too (Jane, I think you’re the first writer I’ve met who’s read them 😀 ). I also love the Mistborn trilogy. 🙂 And the Wingfeather Saga.
I can’t limit myself, can I? 😛
I can’t pick a favorite movie, I fear. I like LOTRs, a bunch of Marvel movies (including Infinity War), and films like Gifted and the Greatest Showman. And random Disney and Pixar movies like Big Hero Six and Tangled. 🙂
June 19, 2018 at 11:50 am #39245GirlSetFree
@girlsetfreeBooks: Unbroken, The Trident Deception Series, Sherlock Holmes, the Navy JAG Series, and tons more.
Movies…I don’t know. War Horse, Captain Courageous, Yip Man, Chariots of Fire, Cast Away…and a lot more, but I forgot. 😉
And @samuel? I’ve wanted to wanted to watch Bourne for so long, and nver got a chance to . Probably be one of my favs as well.

@ericawordsmith@thewirelessblade???!!!! The Greatest Showman?? WHY????? Haven’t seen it, but I know I’m not going to (the circus just isn’t my thing). After my friend ranted and raved about Zack Efron and Rewrite the Stars, I was actually quite disappointed when I saw his pic and heard the song. If you want a good musical, please go watch Fiddler on the Roof. Awesome musical.
Best book series ever… The Lord of the Rings and that also bleeds into best movies ever. Hands down the best. I also really, really, really love The Seventh World Trilogy.
@samuel, if you like Chuck Black’s books (I liked the first one, but the second two…) go read Rachel Starr Thomson’s Oneness Cycle. It has the same angles/demons thing, but I liked them so much better. I’ve read the first two, so I can’t vouch for the rest yet, but aside from a couple of words, I thought they were the best spiritual warfare books I’ve ever read.One more movie that I’m really loving right now, Return to the Hiding Place. Really, really great film. I don’t cry in films, but the first time I watched it recently, I cried. It’s got so much awesome stuff packed into it, although be prepared to be a little shook up.
Then of course The Hobbit films are awesome.

@thewirelessbladeI thought it was a good movie personally… Mostly because of the music… Music’s good.
@gabriellepollack @kayla-joy @girlsetfree @jane-maree @samuelLooks like I haven’t read as many books as I thought I had.

@r-m-archerBooks: Any of Wayne Thomas Batson’s fantasy books (except the Myriad Constellation series, which I haven’t read yet), Chasing Jupiter by Rachel Coker, Echoes by Miranda Marie, The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer, the Shannara and Landover books by Terry Brooks, The Terebinth Tree Chronicles by Hannah Heath… I’ll stop there before I totally swamp everyone. XD
Movies: Anything by Marvel, The Greatest Showman, Wonder, Wonder Woman (the only DCU movie I’ve really enjoyed), Lord of the Rings, and The Princess Bride.

@jane-mareeI will forever fangirl over the Mission league. (Although it took me a while to actually start liking Spencer, and I still want to hit him over the head several times in each book. xD)
