I read a blog post a while back about using a Bible verse as the basis for your story’s theme, but now I can’t find it anywhere. I vaguely remember the story the author used as an example (one of her own), but not well enough to look it up based on that. It was a fantasy set in the desert with a male pseudo-god MC and a female MC I don’t remember well. I don’t even remember the verses she used, and I follow so many similar blogs that I have no idea where to even start. XP Have any of you seen this post, by chance and could you point me toward it? Thanks in advance!

Ah! I found one, by @snapper actually. But I was really thinking that desert fantasy one was on the same topic and I’m still having trouble finding it, so if any of you happen to know of it I’d still appreciate that link too. 🙂

Aha! I finally found the one I’d been thinking of! And apparently… it wasn’t a post on using bible verses as theme. I must have been mentally smushing together that one and the one by Snapper. Oops. But I’m glad I finally found it and got that mystery out of the way! (Here’s the link, btw, in case anyone’s curious.)

@r-m-archer I think using Bible verses for themes is a fantastic idea! I can’t say that I can give any advice about it, but it’s definitely a great idea 😉
