    Hi there, I keep seeing a few ENFP’s I think, and I wanted to figure out just who they are for a start.

    @eden-anderson
    and @kari-karast are ENFP right? Y’all tag any others that you know are ENFP’s.

    I keeps seeing introverted writers, but really, there’s quite a few loud extroverts that write and make everyone around them miserable by talking about writing. ๐Ÿ˜€

    So anyway, I wanted to see, just how many extroverted writers can I find? Are there really more introverted writers than extroverted? Are the introverts the more serious writers? Are the extroverts the more determined writers at times? Or does absolutely none of it matter? Does personality have a lot to do with the way you write? I think… somebody might come at me with a shovel if I’m wrong, but are extroverts more of the discovery writers and the introverts the planners?

    I start this list with myself, @eden-anderson and @kari-karast I know y’all are extroverts. I am curious as to how many I can find.

    He he he. Oh yes. I amย very much an extrovert. And ENFP. Hmm. I know there was a conversation about who was an ENFP on the Fantasy Writers thread… lemme just pop on over there and see who said they were ENFPs so I can tag ’em here.

    Let’s see… @chalice and… *sighs and hangs head sadly* The other ENFPs were Eden and you… oh well. Perhaps later I’ll go randomly stalk people to see if they’re ENFPs and then tag them on here. ;P

    (Oh Chalice this is a thread for ENFPs… just lettin you know why you were tagged…)

    Yep! *salutes*

    Anyway, did you ever think me profile pic was a piece of pottery or something? That seems to be a rather common thought around here… *ignores how random this question is*

    @kari-karast *brain suddenly switches very quickly from the woes of technology and the complications of recording in a closet*

    You know… That didn’t cross my mind (as far as it remembers), but that could very well be true… XD Pottery… However did you get your head stuck in there? What is it exactly? I haven’t been able to figure that out.

    *waves hesitantly* So… I’m an extrovert as in I get energy from people, but I’m not particularly outgoing. My official type is INFP, but I also venture toward E and J, so I think I’m some weird mix of those four types. I don’t know if you’re looking for a semi-quiet extrovert to hang out with, but I’ll stay if you want me around, lol.

    @chalice

    @ericawordsmithย @kari-karast, I’m an ENFP!

    Wait…. are you an ENFP too, @ericawordsmith?

    @r-m-archer
    , I think if you get energy from people that means you are an (technically) extrovert, no matter how shy or quiet you are. I’ve actually heard that the ENFP is the most “introverted” extrovert.

    It might be more likely that extroverts are more likely to be discovery writers, but I am actually a planner. I’ve never gotten anywhere productive through discovery writing. But I might be a minority. ๐Ÿ˜›

    Also. I don’t think I can say I’m a very serious writer…. Yeah, I’m not.

    And, yes, it does seem to me that there are more introverted writers than extroverts. At least there seems to be more on this site…

    Not sure how to answer your other questions… I’ll just sit back and see what others have to say. ๐Ÿ™‚

    FINALLY!!! A thread for us crazy, hyperactive, ENFP extroverts!!

    *first pump* ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’ƒ๐ŸŽ‰

    I keeps seeing introverted writers, but really, thereโ€™s quite a few loud extroverts that write and make everyone around them miserable by talking about writing.

    *cough, cough* Yeah, pretty much sums us up. ๐Ÿ˜›

    I feel like there are more introverted writers because…well, in a sense writing isย introverted.ย You can talk with others till kingdom come about writing, but you can’t very well actually write with other people. Writing is not a social activity. You have to think while you are writing and hanging out with people and partying is just not going to work while trying to write. (Maybe some people can pull it off…๐Ÿ˜œ)

    As an extrovert, I sometimes find it very hard to pull myself away from people and go write. I want to be where the fun is. When I sit at my lonely little desk, staring morosely down at that blank page, and hear everybody laughing and partying and having a high old time, it’s almost like torture sitting there and not being a part of the fun. *shudders*

    I’d way rather be texting one of my friends, or going out for coffee with my sister, or hanging out at the neighbors, or even petting my dog for pity sake…then sitting down all by my lonely self and trying to write.

    Sigh…the life of an extroverted writer. It’s hard, ya’ll, it’s hard.

    And that’s why I think there are more introverted writers than extroverted writers.

    That said, there are times when my fingers just inch to write and I can’t resist the urge, so, regardless of the people talking around me, I sit down at the computer and pound out the words and inspiration just flows and the words come pouring forth in blessed abundance, and I am in my ELEMENT. *blissful sigh* This is of course NOT the norm…but you know how it is sometimes. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    About planning vs. discovery…I really don’t know what I am. I tend to think up plots in my head for a couple of years…planning and perfecting and then I start writing down the story. I have never been able to successfully fill out a plot sheet or anything…I get bored half way through. I have tried and tried to write out a plot but have so far failed every time. So, I suppose I am a planner, I just plan it all in my head. ๐Ÿ˜€

    It would be really interesting to see how many ENFP’s are here! @r-m-archer You are most certainly welcome! ๐Ÿค—

    Sorry, I don’t really know any other ENFP’s on here…

    Okay, guys, I could go on talking for the next 2 hours (you know that…I know that) but this is getting long…and so I will spare you all. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Yours truly,

    Extroverted Eden and Ferdinand-her hedgehog. โค

    P.S. I have no idea why I signed off like that…sorry for being so random. ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‘

    Yes you are!! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    @eden-anderson

    I actually Hangouts chat my friendsย while I’m writing. It doesn’t always work out though… XD

    DON’T BE SORRY FOR BEING RANDOM. RANDOM IS GOOD.

    I have no idea.ย Are you the only ENFJ?

    I like your new profile pic btw!

    Okay. So my question answers.

    I have no idea how many introverted writers there are compared to extroverted writers. The few writers I know in person don’t seem all that introverted to me. Just sayin.

    I… am both discovery and planner I think. (Is that a plantser? I dunno.) I plan stuff out in my head. And have a really hard to understand if you’re not me Google Doc that has notes on my stories. But I also just go with the flow, where my writing takes me. Which is what most of it is. Me just going with what comes to me at that moment in time.
