Allrighty, folks. Question of the day.

Who was most valiant – Robin Hood, Scarlet Pimpernel, Westly/The Man in Black, or, uh, Batman?

The Scarlet Pimpernel is probably the most morally astute of them all… though we could also put Wesley up there… Robin Hood loses automatically… and Batman, although really cool and deadly and badguy taking down, is morally troubled.

I refrain from touching on valiance until I have a better idea of what it means. How are you using the word?

    Is that-

    Is that an owl? 😛

I was going to say Wesley, but then again I know next to nothing about Robin Hood, and even more next-er to nothing about the Scarlet Pimpernel, so I might be a little biased.

The Scarlet Pimpernel. All the rest can go home.

I mean,Percy is basically Batman but way cooler and with less angst and general anger issues.

I’m actually only familiar with Batman and Robin hood of the four. After looking up the exact definition of valiant I would say Robin hood. (Not that he is righteous) Though, I’m not really sure why. Actually the more I think about it, I don’t think I know any of these characters well enough to be a fair judge. This is a really interesting question though!

How are you making a choice between the Scarlet Pimpernel and Robin Hood…? XD Though I’d have to say the Scarlet Pimpernel if you’re going off the word valiant. Both are great though. And Wesley.

The Scarlette Pimpernel…although Wesley is a close second. 😁

(Even so I still love Robin Hood…whether valiant or not.)

    Tricky.

I’m partial to the Scarlet Pimpernel, and agree he’s morally one of the best. But valiant wouldn’t be the first word I’d pick for him. We do need it defined.

Westley, yes, valiant fits, but he’s not as compassionate to enemies, or ready to rescue just anyone as the Scarlet Pimpernel.

Robin Hood, it really depends on which Robin Hood story you look at. Some versions of him could count as valiant, but some certainly not.

Batman, I’m not calling him valiant, but all my information is second or third hand.

    OF COURSE SIR PERCY/Scarlet Pimpernel!

Sorry, didn’t mean to yell there. But honestly…

Wesley is a close second. I do adore Batman though… hmm… hard choice between Bruce and Wesley. Robin Hood will be last.

When I read “(Even so I still love Robin Hood…whether valiant or not.)” I nodded. 🙂
