    Hello everyone!

My name is Joseph Kolapudi, I hail from Australia, and I’m a new addition to StoryEmbers πŸ™‚

I started reading fiction back in the day when The Lion, the Witch, and The Wardrobe was a picture book.

Currently, I blog short stories, though I plan to publish a fiction book in the next few months.

Hope to connect with y’all soon!

Thanks so much for letting me join the community πŸ™‚

    Kind regards,

    Joseph

@joseph-kolapudi, well, I am actually writing two short stories (which are getting rather long) and one long novel which I am not very far in at all. I’ve never finished a novel before, though I did nearly finish one, but the story was way too dumb and clichΓ© to waste any more time on, and I was no longer enjoying writing it.

@joseph-kolapudi Nice! Fantasy is one of the predominant features of my bookshelf!

Heh, I’m from rural, inland NSW, so, not really close to any major cities. Closest is Sydney which is 6 hours away. *shrugs*

    Great meeting you!

@j-a-penrose Oh, that’s great to hear.

Are you working on any fantasy writing at the moment?

    @nuetrobolt Oh, I see.

    That’s quite fascinating.

And you’re right, it’s best to focus on the stories that are close to your heart.

No point on working on something that you don’t believe has potential.

Trust your current projects are going along smoothly?

@ajaj2000 Nice to meet you, Aimie!

Yes, I have been working on a short story, more of an adventure series.

I also got a local illustrator to do the in-leaf drawings.

Just working on getting a publisher at the moment.

Hopefully can publish in the next year or so.

    Sure,Β @ajaj2000!

And apologies for the late reply.

I got the idea for my short stories series when I was in high school.

My story won a high distinction in a national writing competition, so I thought there was something to it.

After I developed the idea to the first book, I wanted to expand on it further, until a book series developed.

And that’s where I am now!

Hopefully a publisher will be able to pick it up someday soon πŸ™‚
