@mariposa@melodyjoy What genre do you like to write in? 🙂
Yep! I’m definitely going be reading all of them. I’m only a couple chapters in the first book and I’m already hooked. 😂

@mariposa@claire-h Yay! Fawkes was AMAZING (I especially loved the ending even though it was sad 😭). 😍 Have you read any other books by Nadine Brandes?

Yes, the ending was so good. It left me with all the right feels. 😁Actually Fawkes is the first one book of hers that I’ve read. I have Romanov on hold at my library though, so I’m looking forward to reading it!! How about you?a flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it.

@arindownOh, it’s hard to pick a favorite character from Little Women…but I can’t help loving Jo, and Laurie. I think that’s half the charm of the story, every character is so relatable and lovable in their own way.😊
How about you?

@zee@mariposa, for lack of a better word, I’d say…apocalyptic? Honestly, I’m not really sure. They’re very unique.

@mariposa@claire-h Fawkes was the first book I’ve read of hers too! I’ve been wanting to read her Out of Time trilogy books for a while though. 😊

@sarahfiOne of the books that has impacted the most has been The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson. This book was my main introduction to modern adult fantasy. As a writer, it mainly taught me not to glorify war. As a reader, it proved that yes, it’s possible for an ending to be even better than you hoped.

@melodyjoyI write in fantasy, and Contemporary fiction. What about you?
I have a friend that recently started the 4th book without reading the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd… I told her too… She just sent me an email saying that she is not getting into it easily. I can TOTALLY see why! LOL

@mariposa@sarahfi Yes! Especially the part about “As a writer, it mainly taught me not to glorify war.” I haven’t read anything by Brandon Sanderson, but those are some amazing things to learn from a book. 😊
