    Greetings,

I’m a homeschool grad and longtime writer, my largest body of work being in the stage work area. I write novels as well, albeit slower, and don’t care so much about genre as I do a good story. I prefer writing fiction that is deeply and openly Christian, imitating some of the older masters like Tolstoy and Brontë. Masterful, openly Christian fiction has had the most personal impact on me, and I wish there was more of it. I hope to fill the void a little.

I like cats and chocolate and Star Wars and enjoy creating interactive murder mystery games for parties and events to sharpen my storytelling skills.

I’m hoping to meet some likeminded people on here with whom I can discuss the art forms with and sharpen some iron!

Read, write, rewrite, repeat. It’s that easy, and it’s that hard.

Hi, Abby! It’s cool to see someone who writes for the stage around here. I’ve edited a historical romance book (set in my local area, so it was a ton of fun to research!) with strongly Christian themes that my client is shopping around, so maybe I’ll have a good book to recommend to you when it finally gets published, lol.

(I love all those interests you shared, lol)

That’s awesome! I would like to be an editor someday. I get enough practice on my siblings’ schoolwork :).

Fun! I want to try historical fiction sometime. What time period do you like writing about the most?

Oh, it’s hard to pick a favorite. My current book is set in the gangster era (1930s) and that’s one I love, but I also enjoy 1800-1820 and the mid-17oo’s. And the 1910’s. It’s hard to narrow it down! And I admit, sometimes I pick an era just because of the costumes 🙂
