@mgtaskHey everyone!
I came across this cool tool recently. You don’t need to do it exactly the way it says, but it may still be helpful for brainstorming. Let’s get those steampunk-style gears turning! I know, it’s fantasy, not necessarily steampunk, but whatever.

@morreafirebird“Daughter Nightmare Stars.”
Um….? xD
I’d like to see what a book with that title would be like!

She belonged to neither world fully. Part star and essence of nightmare, she walked the fringes of reality trying to belong but always the outcast…
Nope. I tried. I can’t do a thing with that title. That’s hilarious!!
Oh wait… I think it’s The Daughter of Nightmare and Stars.

@morreafirebird@deeprun
Is this a space opera/fantasy/horror book? xD
Ah, I forgot to add the articles to the title. That’s a little better!

@naiya-dyaniGoing with my username. . .
The City of Blood and Wind.
O_O
Sounds like a darker story than I usually write.
Tai: Oh, yeah?? Mind if I show you a list of the characters you’ve killed in our story alone???
Oops. He’s right, I guess. Heh.

@seekjusticeThe King of Night and Snow is mine 🙂
I quite like the sound of it to be honest.
Unfortunately my fantasy novel has no snow in it so i’ll have to come up with a new plot based solely on this prompt.

A space opera? Wow… I’m picturing My Fair Lady mashed into Star Trek.
And trying very hard to not imagine show tunes being sung on a bridge…
You have that too? One small prompt can create an entire novel?
Yes… Your title is rather dark! Blood on the wind gives me bad mental images.

AH, other people who get inspired by random stuff!!! XD Seriously, once I was doing geometry and saw an angle name and thought “hey, if you added a lot more consonants and just a few vowels to that, you would have a name that looked unpronounceable but was actually one simple syllable. that could be an interesting story” and then had to shake myself and say “NO! You’re supposed to be doing math right now!”

@mgtask@morreafirebird At the bottom it says to format it like this: “The (your birth month) of (first letter of your first name) and (first letter of your last name).”

@mgtask@deeprun Do you mean a steampunk book title generator? I haven’t seen one, but that would be neat.

@old-cootThrone of Storm and Glass
…hmm, maybe…knock it together a little…
Throne of Stormglass
…almost there…flip it like a pancake…
The Stormglass Throne
Dindingding!
(something that would obviously be useful for an airship empire!)
