Grace Livingston
@gracelivingstonHELLO, HELLO, HELLO, EVERYONE!
I’m super jazzed to see this forum get started! *bounces up and down while suppressing a squeal of excitement*
I’m Grace Livingston, but please, call me Gracie. 🙂
I’ve been writing for four-ish years now but have yet to finish the novel I started then or any project I’ve started since. (Let’s just say I love dreaming up stories but am still working on the putting-them-down-on-paper part. 😅😅) Currently, I have two novels in the works. Both fantasy (though one leans more to the sci-fi end of the spectrum). I also have numerous poetry projects going. *is very scatterbrained*
Things I love so much I can’t find the words to do them justice include, singing, laughing, kayaking, camping, wind, and just sitting back and marveling at life. *moves on before she gets too worked up*
Other random facts about me:
I love geeking out about stuff.
😜= my favorite emoji
I’m an INFP.
And the most interesting compliment I’ve ever received is that I have an adorable sneeze.
Oh, and I also host the Story Embers Podcast. XD
Again, super psyched about this forum!! 😀

@briannastormHi, Gracie!
What a fun detail to include! This is my favorite emoji: 😂
I LOVE to laugh, and I crack up really easily—sometimes too easily. 😜 I’m usually the person still laughing after everyone else in the room has stopped.

@gracelivingston@briannastorm I love that emoji too. XD

@gracelivingston@Mariposa Aww, I’d love to show some to you once I have some. <3 (Maybe I’ll submit some of it soon for everyone to see. 😉 )
Yeah, I kinda guessed that would be your favorite. 😛 Isn’t it funny how there seems to be emojis for practically everything? XD

@gracelivingston@daeus-lamb *sighs* It’s just the bestistest isn’t, it?

@sam-kowal@gracelivingston Hi, Gracie, and Zikers.
I gotta sympathize. I have no complete novel yet either, although I’m working towards it.
What is your favorite thing to geek out about?
Hmm. I love wind, too, especially when it is calm and laced with scents of trees and forest and gently sighs in the twilight like…okay I need to stop.
Favorite emoji? That’s a cool detail. Mine is the invisible emoji, because it always stumps people. Like… ‘whaaa?’
I also like the dragon, 🐲, the ninja cat,🐱👤 and the cat dino🐱🐉
*nom, nom, nom*

@skredderHi Gracie! I think being complimented on your sneeze is a very good thing! The simple smile emoji is my favorite. 🙂
I will say that the only thing wind means to me is allergies and dust walls. Yeah, wind and I don’t get along. 🙁

@josiah@gracelivingston Ooh–what all has your camping experience been like? I haven’t done a terrible amount of it, but went on a canoe/camping trip up in Canada the summer before college with my youth group and that was a bunch of fun.
April 17, 2018 at 12:51 pm #30664Grace Livingston
@gracelivingston@Sam-kowal Zikers, to you too! 😜
I honestly don’t think I can pick a favorite thing that I geek out about because there are so many. That one string of notes in that one song, the look that person gave the other person, the train whistles I can hear while I’m falling asleep, numerous stories in all forms whether it’s books, movies, or tv shows, and loads more. Life in general most of the time. It’s pretty awesome and super hard to explain. XD
Haha, I actually like ferocious wind better than a breeze. When it whips my hair so fast it feels like a thousand tiny needles pricking my cheeks or when I can sing as loud as I want without even hearing my own voice because the wind carries it away instantly….okay, now I need to stop. 😛 The only problem with a wind like that is it packs a mean punch later when you go to bed with your face smarting from a windburn. XD
Lol, the ninja cat and the cat dino. XD I’ll have to remember those ones. I also like this guy: 😳 He just seems so bothered by something. 😛

@gracelivingston@skredder Aw, yep. I love the simple smiley-guy too. 🙂
Eek! I feel ya. Allergies are no fun. 🙁 I have them really bad in the spring especially. *much sympathy*

@gracelivingstonOoooh, Canada is on my bucket list. 🙂 Did you guys tent-camp? Where’d you go?
What has my camping experience been like…Oh, how to answer this without losing all self-restraint and drowning you in an account of all my camping adventures. 😛
My family has owned a travel trailer for three-ish years now and we use it pretty much every chance we get. XD It’s like a second home to me.
We’ve camped all over Michigan since it’s closest. Sleeping Bear Dunes, Whitefish Bay, the Porcupine Mountains, you name it. My favorite park is probably Ludington State Park on the east side of Lake Michigan, but the entire Upper Peninsula is breathtaking. Give me icy Lake Superior over the ocean any day. 😛 Plus, it’s ALL pine trees up there. What more could a Gracie ask for? 😉
Last summer we went to Maine. OH, MY GOODNESS. It was the absolute bestistest. I love Michigan but Maine was absolutely gorgeous. (Coincidentally, its woods are almost entirely comprised of pines as well. 😛 ) We did the full Acadia National Park package: Cadillac Mountain, Bar Harbor, and the Schoodic Peninsula. I get watery eyed just thinking about it sometimes. It’s my favorite trip to date.
This summer we’re doing Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, and the Grand Tetons. AHHH! I’m so pumped.
Okay, so that probably qualifies as drowning you in an account of all my camping adventures but I could seriously go on forever. *sheepish grin* It’s also probably meaningless since all I did was throw a bunch of names in your face. XD You’ll just have to take my word for it. All those places are awesome. Camping is awesome. You get the idea. 😛

@elizabeth@gracelivingston Goodness, girl, that tag IS really long!!
But seriously, when are you going to take me camping, huh? I’m still waiting on my kidnapping.

@josiah@gracelivingston Yeah; we tent-camped in Algonquin National Park for a couple days. 🙂
That’s a pretty awesome set of places you’ve been to. About every other year, my family will go on a couple week road trip (we don’t camp, though… too much work for 10 people and my mom doesn’t like camping). So we hit Arcadia several years back, and did the Rushmore-Yellowstone-Tetons trip as well 8 years ago. (We tacked on Glacier at the end as well which was amazing. Probably my favorite national park.)
