    @kimlikesart Ooh yes! I think I also talked about some musicals up there too (: Do you like The Gray Havens?

    I like that. Maybe someday I’ll visit Texas.

    @evelyn Thank you. Glad to see my original tag worked… on the site I used to be on, tags functioned differently.

    I hope so too!

    (It’s from N.D. Wilson’s Outlaws of Time. I’m guessing you got that but for anyone who didn’t… there it is.)

    Hey Maya!

    (We’re going to pretend for a bit that I didn’t completely forget that I was on Story Embers)

    Good to see you here. @lianajdouglas would probably say that she hopes you use the site more than she does, and I’d have to agree with her. (Both that you should use it more than she does and that you should use it more than I do. ;))

    @mayajoelle Aha, I knew it sounded familiar but I couldn’t think of what it was from. That makes sense though. (:

    I’ve only read them once and I remember not liking them a whole lot… that was a while ago however and I’ve been meaning to read them again. I’ll probably like them more now!

    Which is your favorite N.D. Wilson book/series?

    @mayajoelle Hehe, yeah, I can’t say I’m much of a politics fan. XD Now I have some more to add to my list! I love The Kate and Abbie Show!

    There are some really great songs in Dear Evan Hansen. I’ve been half dying know what Beetlejuice is about, lol. Ahh, I think the show I’d most want to see in Broadway would be Newsies, haha. πŸ˜› I absolutely looooove the dancing and the songs are just so. good. I’d also wanna see Into the Woods.

    @eden-anderson
    Hullo! Haha, no worries atall, my friend. Why thank you, I quite like it myself. πŸ˜‚ *hugs back*

    @evelyn My personal favorite is the Ashtown Burials, but I’ve been re-reading 100 Cupboards and re-remembering how very good it is… honestly, his nonficΒ Death by Living is by far the best of his works. Only Niffy’s speech inΒ Empire of Bones compares. Have you read it? What’s your favorite work of his?

    @clevercraftsman
    Fun! Yeah, DEH has AMAZING songs. My favorites are “Requiem,” “Waving Through a Window,” “For Forever,” and “Words Fail.” “Anybody Have a Map?” is super relatable, and “Sincerely Me” isΒ hilarious (despite… some stuff that isn’t so great).

    *realizes I just listed almost all of the songs*

    Benj Pasek and Justin Paul are just such great songwriters! La La Land, The Greatest Showman, and DEH are all consistently fabulous.

    @mayajoelle Ashtown Burials are my favorite too, though I am very fond of 100 Cupboards too and those books used to hold that special spot in my smol bookworm heart. I think the difference is realizing how unique and quirky Ashtown Burials is (while – in comparison – 100 Cupboards feels a bit more genre-typical, even for it’s N.D. Wilson style of not following the norm). Also Nolan. Also Arachne. And also the sibling vibes. And Rupert Greeves. And so many philosophy jokes. And classical themes.

    Speaking of which, are you getting the serial for the fourth book??

    Ahhh I need to read the whole series again…

    @mayajoelle Ya, I really want to go to Germany, and we have some German roots in our family, along with Swiss. But I just love the accent!

    Yes, I want to go to Spain someday, though my friend also wants to go to Mexico, which would also be fun. πŸ™‚ Our family travels quite a bit, but mostly just from where we live here in Canada to Ohio for Christmas. My grandparents live there.

    Oh, I understand now. I LOVE iced caps (frozen coffee)! They’re SOOOOO GOOD!!!!
