Here’s another one of my characters! I posted her earlier but she either got deleted or got lost, so I’m trying again:
I had a hard time picking which picture to use (I’ve drawn her so often XD) but I think this one is interesting.
Without darkness, there is no light. If there was no nighttime, would the stars be as bright?
Her name means “Light upon me”, which did lead to a lot of dark/light symbolism throughout the story XD And your name is reallypretty!

He kind of does look like a Maxon😂 His actual name is Lorcan. It was Duane for a long long time but I wasn’t happy with it so I changed it. I’m much happier with this one now 🙂

Yes, yes, yes and yes! I haven’t completely figured out his backstory yet, but he will have major family issues. Hint: he may or may not be an illegitimate child who is ignored by the father and bullies by his perfect handsome older brother *gasp*
5) Would you be friends with that character?: Maybe? He kinda intimidates me LOL
Lorcan has a hard time when it comes to making friends as he inly trusts his inner circle. He generally accepts the fact that he will always be seen as the bad guy due to his heritage and his associations. He believes that it is better to be feared and respected, so he probably would figure out first how he could use you for his own benefit. He might even do it while pretending to have a deep conversation and drinking wine 😅
6) Any other details you may have gotten from the picture: He has a lot of facial scars and he seems to be wearing armor, so I assume he has combat experience. I also think his weapon of choice might be close-range. I don’t think he has any powers.
So close-range would be his go-to yes, as he has super strength and durability so he usually fights without weapons, but he also has teleportation powers and instant healing abilities, meaning he has a huge advantage in most fights.
7) What would this character’s nickname be? Why?: Umm… I don’t think anyone would dare to give him a nickname XD
You’re right on that XD he‘s far too powerful and scary, no one would be dumb enough to try that with him. The future love of his life will probably give a nickname like Lor or something.
8) Character’s greatest strength: Probably determination and courage.
I think thats accurate too, when he wants something nothing stops him. I think its also his ability to love. He loves his tribe and would go through fiery hell for them – its the motivation behind many if his decisions.
9) Character’s fatal flaw: I think he’s too closed off and has trouble forming relationships with other characters.
You’re partially right on that. I think its the fact that he can’t voice his feelings properly, particularly because he always puts his love for his people first and foremost. He refuses to officially join the war against evil because he doesn’t want to put his tribe in danger. So he is in the grey area, serving both sides in different ways.
10) Phrase that this character is likely to say: (I honestly don’t have a clue XD)
It’s probably ‘Good evening a stór,’ or something similar. He would definitely say something that is flirty, humorous and intimidating.
11) Character’s favorite color(s): Probably darker colors, maybe gray?
Those would be the colours he wears the most – but I think his favourite colour would be blue, because his people are sea invaders 🙂

No, most of my faceclaims are just stuff I found online, although I have some fan art by friends and a few sketches by myself. These were found online. 😉

Well her role is really complicated.
A certain kid was kidnapped by a Sith lady and raised on Pantora, you know the planet where the blue skinned people live? XD While she trained this kid in the Force he was often rebellious and ran off to play with some kids on the streets, one of whom was Aylin, who was technically an orphan that lived on the streets.
She is his best friend, and then later he has to leave to do Sith ness, so she decided to join the rebellion, not knowing that she would be on opposite sides as he.
But she runs into this guy that looks a lot like her friend, but he’s his brother, and so she ends up joining the Danu-Windu clan her friend’s fam) in a way, since she has no one else.4) Personality: intelligent, tactical, reserved, creative
Yes, for all those, she’s pretty smart from learning to live on her own for years. She’s definitely reserved though, and polite, especially to the family that took her in. She’s also confident, a bit snarky to her closer companions.
5) Would you be friends with this character?: yeah… if she’d be friends with me, lol
I think she’d be your friend as long as she was sure she could trust you.
6) Any other details you may have gotten from the picture: she looks like a soldier in the first one, but she also seems sweet and shy in the second one. Maybe she had a rough past that hardened her?
Definitely a hard past, she lost her parents, lived on the streets, in an Oliver Twist kind of feel, that life definitely hardened her. But she’s quiet and not noticeable, so that kind of disposition helps her appear innocent.
7) What would this character’s nickname be? Why?: Lia? she looks like a Lia to me.
Could be maybe, but she’d probably have some sort of street name like Slick or something.

Yes, also she listens. Her quiet attitude as well.

Yes, she does do that a lot, but also it’s hard for her to trust people.

She may say that. I can see her saying that, aiming a gun at someone but probably like dreading actually shooting the person.

I think so, but maybe also a light or soft yellow.

I love doing that too, though admittedly, I have like two settings when it comes to names. It’s either “It needs three syllables and it needs to start with a g and end with an i, and it has to have this exact meaning in this language why doesn’t this exist??” Or “Eehhh… I haven’t used this yet. It’ll do!”

1) Name: Addison, Marilyn, Mary-Anne. Something kind of long but classical, or maybe something short and spunky, like Isa, Leah, or Sara.
2) Age: Mid-twenties, I think.
3) Career/role-in-story: I think she’s either a teacher or an academic of some sort. Maybe an archeologist, geologist, or anthropologist? I think she’d be into the humanities and sciences.
4) Personality: Bubbly, adventurous, optimistic, makes friends easily, sweet but determined. Quite stubborn and doesn’t let anyone take advantage of her.
5) Would you be friends with this character?: Totally! I feel like she’d be great to have conversations with!
6) Any other details you might have gotten from the picture: She’s carrying a notebook, wearing (very cool) work boots, and wearing gloves, so I think her work involves some kind of manual labor and documenting stuff.

Just a major idea about one of my MC’s backstories. It was super windy by the highway and I was randomly like , ‘there should be voices…in the wind.’ So yeah, she grew up hearing voices. (Although, not only in the wind. )

What’s the idea for your villain?
It’s very complicated, but I’ll try to explain it as best as I can lol. So my villain (he’s more of a grey area type character) hates this other villainous character, they both seek revenge against one another. My WIP is based on Celtic myth so I was thinking about the general family tree of the magical beings and it suddenly hit me. In Medieval Ireland, noble families used to send their sons and daughters to other noble families very young so that they would be fostered by them. It was supposed to strengthen relations between the two families, and the children would probably grow up to become more familiar with their foster family rather than their blood relations. This societal tradition was also in the Irish mythological texts. So I thought oh why not make character A and character B foster brothers? It would certainly flesh out their backstories even more! XD
