How is a way Kirat can get rid of Talia? Because it’d be getting late in the day, and he’d have to be at the Nest a little bit before the raid so he can have a discussion with Cade.

@urwen-starial Honestly, it’d probably be pretty easy for him to lose her in the streets since isn’t it getting dark?
(Also, I’m working on the Reza piece, don’t worry!)

@naiya-dyani (Okay, I’ll do my best . . . 🙂 I’m not always good with arguing logically! And I’m okay with Kiet and Kedori doing whatever comes naturally to the. And I’m glad that Kedori is following them, as I was hoping he and Megyn would get to know each other as friends [that is, as far as you want them to]. )
Gerik stepped outside. “This w–”
A sharp gunshot rang out through the night, slicing off Gerik’s words.
Rob swung towards it, his nostrils flared and his chest pumping as his protective instincts kicked into high gear.
At the same moment, Gerik slipped into the shadows and vanished.
What is he up to? He’d better watch it. Rob though as he sprinted after him. Redrawing his .45 with a swift, well-practiced motion, he muttered, “Depending on what’s going on, I might need you soon.”
His other hand grabbed his left collar. “Meredith-” he stopped.
When will I ever remember?? Grunting in disgust, he hurried after Gerik.
Gerik led him a short way, then stopped as the street met an alleyway. Rob closed in behind him and glanced across the street.
Crowded in the alley were two men with guns, a young woman with a backpack, and a young guy laying on the ground, obviously wounded. Probably got shot in the leg.
Rob narrowed his eyes as he studied the group. The one man with the gun and the young woman with the backpack had their backs to him, but the other man stood facing their direction, the moonlight illuminating him and his uniform like someone was shining a spotlight on him.
He’s wearing a mockingbird! Rob tensed. His gun hand clenched the grip. Government agents.
Gerik turned back towards him. Even in the dark, Rob could see his eyes were narrow slits.
“Do they have one of our sparrows?” Rob asked in a low tone.
(I’ll do Megyn’s part as soon as I can.)

Gerik’s nostrils flared. “Doesn’t matter. Are you coming or not?”

Hey everybody! Urwen and I have been thinking that we should probably have a meeting to decide what’s going to happen next in our character story. Kinda like a planning meeting. We were considering using google hangouts. We would need your emails and times that you can be on.
I will probably be on a good portion of the morning tomorrow.
If this doesn’t work for you, or if you have any suggestions, just let me know.
Looking forwards to hearing from you – Emberynus

I don’t know if I could, but I will try to see if I can and then get back to you. That’s probably a good idea, though.

Hi everyone, I’m back.
Much as I’d like to do that I really don’t have the time. Sorry, but I’m sure you’ll be fine without me.

@emberynus-the-dragonslayer I might be there . . .
@naiya-dyani @kayla-skywriter Ok, here’s the next part ( I just made up the FRMS [First Response Medic Squad] off the top of my head. Anybody can refer to it or add charries to it if they want to. I have no copyrights! 🙂 )
“That depends on whether they have one of our sparrows or not.” Rob returned, his brows furrowing. Whats with this hostile attitude, kid?
The agent twisted himself around, his eyes dark with shadows . . . and suspicion.
“Who are you?” he challenged.
“Mockingbird FRMS Megyn Harris.” She recited quickly, “Please, Sir. He’s bleeding badly. ”
“Well, you can come along with us and talk to the Tower Warden about-”
“Please, Sir!” She implored, her voice rose a little in her urgency. “There isn’t much time. It’s a long trek to the Tower and in that amount of time, he could bleed to death, if something isn’t done about it!”
His partner spoke for the first time.”She’s got a point. We can’t question him if he’s dead.”
The first agent nodded. “True,” he admitted. Turning to her, he continued, “Alright, just enough to slow the bleeding down. But then you better come along with us and talk to the Tower Warden before taking any further action.”
“Thank you, Sir.” she replied gratefully as she knelt beside the young man. Slipping her backpack from her shoulder, she swiftly unzipped the main pouch and snatched out a three foot strip of cloth.
As she eased the young man’s leg into her lap and slid his pant’s leg up to the knee, she winced slightly. The silver moonlight exposed the wound, dark, gaping and sticky with blood. Fairly serious injury, she thought.
Folding the length of cloth into a flat strip, she leaned over and wrapped it twice around the leg just above the wound, pulled it tight and swiftly tied a square knot.
“There.” She murmured softly, gently lowering his leg to the ground again.
“Let’s move.” The first agent stooped over and lifted the young man in his arms. Straightening up, he strode off down the street, his partner following in his shadow.
Megyn shouldered her backpack and sprang up. Glancing over her shoulder, she noticed the youth she left. Gesturing to him, she hurried after the agents.

I probably could. Not sure when I’d be available, though. 😛 I’ll see if I’m around the times everyone else is around. I’m usually a lot more likely to be available in the late afternoons and evenings.

@Dakota That’s great!
Gerik shot him a glare. “I seriously doubt it. And if they do, then it’s all the better for us. Trust me, we don’t want him around.”
Kedori beckoned to Pasha and took off after the group, trying to catch of glimpse of the boy’s face. The woman hadn’t looked too pleased about the state of his wound.
It wasn’t supposed to turn out like this, Kedori thought, sweat beading on his forehead. We were just supposed to split the rebellion to keep the city safe.
And then. . .
Kedori shook himself. I’m not leaving until I know he’s okay.
Kiet awakened to pain and cold. Pain from his still-throbbing leg; cold from the stone floor beneath him. Shifting and forcing a cry of pain back down his throat, he glanced around. There were the two agents, standing talking to a stranger, and there was a young woman with a backpack. She glanced at him, her eyebrows furrowed in concern before shooting up as she met his gaze.
