There isn’t really a “discussions about global pandemics” space here, so this will have to do.
How is everyone? How is your writing? How do you manage to write at all with all the hysteria and effed up stuff going on? I can’t seem to really get out of bed so if anyone here really is keeping consistent with their goals, awesome.March 20, 2020 at 1:36 pm #109159Alabama Rose@bama-rose
Hi @phoenix ! I dont know if we’ve met, but I’ve seen you around the forums. 🙂 Anyway, I know, isnt it so crazy? I’m still pretty shocked.
And my writing… *facepalm* I have been an uninspired procrastinator for months. It’s horrible. If you have any suggestions I’d love to hear them. 😝

Since I ended up with the week off from work I’ve been gutting my room and working on rearranging the furniture. Haven’t written in a week, which is as long as it’s been since I’ve been to work. Since my boss allows me to write during times at work when I’m just waiting for my next assignment, I’ve gotten into the unfortunate habit of not writing at home as much as I should. I should probably get back into doing that, since I don’t know when I’ll have work again.March 20, 2020 at 9:35 pm #109213Candide@candide
I’m not writting at all too. I spent all the week at home (but monday) engaged with cooking, cleaning and organizing things.
What’s happening changed peoples perspective of live. We are dealing with things that few of us could imagine. And so fast. I guess I needed some time to rest these ideas. I fell that what I’m about to write will be diferent too.
But tomorrow is saturday and I’ll plan the next week my time for writing and taking notes. If God’s will, besides all He is doing.

…My life hasn’t really changed, to be honest. School is out for two weeks(but we’re still doing homework and turning it in once a week), but other than that I’ve done essentially nothing different. To be honest, I’m not particularly worried at all about the whole COVID-19 thing so I’m just sitting back and watching the world sort of, kind of fall apart.
It’s amusing. And I need a good laugh every now and then. 😉

@sarah-inkdragon *is basically feeling the same way* *my friend and I decided, TP is the new world currency*

Haha, it truly is.
That said, I like that as the human race comes to a pandemic, the first thing that runs out is common sense and TP. XD It’s highly amusing.

@sarah-inkdragon I have to agree. In one sense, I understand and sympathize with other people’s fears (and understand that some people with susceptibilities have legitimate concerns). In another. . . it feels like I’m watching a sitcom. *still can’t understand why TP is such a big deal since it’s literally a respiratory infection*

If it’s the end of the world I’m actually really ok with it tbh it wasn’t like life had a whole lot in store for me anyway
people b buying TP because they’re stocking up for a few weeks I think
then they see the empty shelves and freak out cause if that’s gone, and that’s gone, what else is gonna be gone? And so, they buy toilet paper.
