@evelyn I guess so! I have moments where I’m like WHOAH THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER CREATED and moments where I’m like…I don’t even know–this is completely meaningless garbage.
But it’s been *mostly* enjoyable. When I’m actually writing and not plotting.

Genre:Â Contemporary YA/with a romance subplot (it’s more of a self-discovery type of plot/overcoming the way grief covers your entire life like smoke and smothers joy)
Setting: Summer, NC Mountains, astronomy class/club thingy (with a bunch of old people in it) and ALSO Lucas and Flo (they’re 18 or 19…still figuring out timing here haha)
Flo just moved into town with her family for the summer.
Some Character Vibes:
Lucas (MC): Astronomy, stargazing, grieving the loss of his grandmother, painting stars on the ceiling, repairing his relationship with his grandfather, healing, finding joy again
Flo (Mentor/Love Interest): Iridescent, loud laughter, pinky promises, bad jokes, in love with details, looking deeper, hides her hearing loss, used to be a singer before her hearing loss, off-key humming when she thinks no one is listening
