I landed up in the advanced too so hi everyone ๐Ÿ™‚

I am really working on getting a solid plot and sticking with it. I tend to just write and not do much planning, and on the odd occasion where I really do try to plan, my characters end up taking me on a whirlwind and I can barely keep up with them.

Yeah, they kinda run the show sometimes *glares at characters*

So yes, I am trying really hard to come up with a ‘great enough’ plot that is really full and deep and not cliche.

If you all have any advice on that, then I’d love to hear it ๐Ÿ™‚

    I’m SUPPOSEDLY advanced too. . . So here I stand. . .

I think I’m most working on theme right now. I usually come up with a story and then have a hard time finding a theme for it!

    Advice?

I need to work on revision. Right now, my first drafts are top notch– but still first drafts. Ideas for revisions are coming, but very slowly, and when I try to intentionally brainstorm, I end up with a bunch of good ideas– for the wrong book. My brain keeps jumping in between two new novel concepts as well as the revision of my current draft.
