      🙂 😀

      @emberynus-the-dragonslayer: Thank you! And no prob… there’s nothing I’d rather do. (Plus, standing up for what I believe in beats school, any day! 😉 )

        @banana-peacock-warrior  Wow, powerful poetry!  I almost got chills reading it.   I enjoyed #2 and #5, #2 especially.

        I think one thing you may want to consider changing is the prologue.  It’s a good thought, but the rhyming seems just a little… forced?  It takes a little away from the rest of the poems, which contain powerful images.  Maybe consider a “call to action” type line or focus in on a baby’s heartbeat — something that really grabs your attention and pulls you in.

        Otherwise, awesome job on addressing this issue through poetry!  I think more people should realize the horrors of abortion and stand up against it.

        "Atticus, he was real nice. . . .”
        “Most people are, Scout, when you finally see them.”

        I’ve only got 11 chapters in and I’m working on a major plot rewrite, but if you still want to read it just ask and I’ll post the link.

        How we chose to fight is just as important as what we fight for

        @banana-peacock-warrior Ooh, those are so touching and sweeping!  There is often little parts where it feels forced a little, but overall they are very nice.  I love the message!

        I wrote a couple abortion poems when I was younger…

        "No matter how much it hurts, how dark it gets, or how hard you fall, you are never out of the fight."

          @k-a-grey: Thank you! And thanks for the tip- I’ll try re-writing that prologue with some stronger images.

          @kayla-skywriter: Yes, I’d love to read it! I’ve always wanted to write my own STORY about abortion, but seems I can only write fiction stories and poems come more naturally for this stuff. So… yeah- please!

          @emberynus-the-dragonslayer: *fist-bump*

          @ashira: Thanks! Kk… I’ll keep that in mind editing. I think I just need a thesaurus… 😉

          You did? That’s cool! I’m not the only one, LOL! Did your poems address a certain aspect or abortion in general?

              Hi, all! So, I was advised to add stronger images in my prologue. So- I changed it! I wanted a few opinions on how this one sounds compared to the first prologue…

              Prologue:
              I am hearing silent screams
              From children with no choice.
              God also calls my name:
              “Time to give them a voice!”

              Thoughts? 🙂 Thanks!

                  @banana-peacock-warrior awesome! I like them both, but I think I would agree that this one is better matched! Keep writing! You’re style and message are awesome!
