@katthewriter<p style=”text-align: left;”>@evelyn and @w-o-holmes yes!!! I’m so proud of her.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>I don’t think I’ve met either of you. I’m Kat, and i live in TX. Do yall both write poetry? I have a half way done poetry story. Whos your guild leader? Mines Jane Maree
October 3, 2019 at 10:54 pm #98108Leon Fleming
@w-o-holmesHi, Kat! Yes! I write poetry and so does @evelyn, though I’ll let her speak for herself. 🙂
So it’s a narrative poem? An epic lay? How long do you think it will be? What genre is it in? Will these questions give it all away? Should I even ask them?
Daeus Lamb is my guild leader. I think I’ve talked to your’s before. It was on some poem thing or other…anyway. Right now, I’m working on an anthology of my poetical works. Hopefully it’ll be around 250/300 pages and I don’t know how many words. If you want to read any of my stuff, you can look under the Poetical Discussions tab and there’ll be a few there. I HAVE A POETIC CHALLENGE! To Talk of things… Fresh Poems! These are all pages I’ve posted poetry on.
I’m 14, how old are you? I live in California.

@w-o-holmesIs your name pronounced as Kate?
October 4, 2019 at 1:37 am #98127Katthewriter
@katthewriterOh cool. I wish i could write poetry, but like i allways flunked the exact ryme and reason of the outlines of one’s in English xD i don’t think I’m destined to be a poet.
Uummmmm…. *blinks* like i said i don’t really write poetry, other than that one which i only got myself to cuz it was a story, so i don’t know the poet laungage of what’s what. Okay i guess i wrote one other. I think i posted them on here, so i can tag you to that acient post, but WARNING its no good xD xD
Its about a servant girl who is all alone. And idk what genre, i don’t even know for most of my Novels. It’s not like I’m ‘i want to write this genre’ Then write it, i get a great story idea, and write it and I’ll figure out the other things later.
Oh yeah, I’ve talked to him a few times through email. My sis met him at Bible Bee. He’s cool.
Oh..? Maybe. Sorry, i haven’t been on for 6 months because i er have been in a *coughs* 6 month writers block… eheh….
<p style=”text-align: left;”>Wait it was probably the poem I’m referring to then… oh..okay. wow. Your one of those talented people xD good for you.

I’m 17. Turning 18 in less than a month. Ah.. California. Interesting.No. Kat, like Cat but with a K. It’s my nickname.

@evelyn@katthewriter Yes, I don’t think we’ve met before. I do adore poetry and try to write it, though nothing of consequence usually comes out.
My guild master is the cousin of yours. (:
@w-o-holmes An anthology? Wow that’s great! I’d love to hear how you plan that out. Is there a theme between what you include? How long have you been working on it? I’ve always been so intriqued by the process.October 4, 2019 at 7:34 pm #98168Leon Fleming
@w-o-holmesHey, I usually NEVER finish straight through with the rhyming scheme. Sometimes I try, but it always ends up wandering…I even wrote a poem once on how my mind wanders while writing poetry. 🙂
Ok, so did you write it on paper or on a computer?
Um, genre: like the form you wrote it in and is it fictional or nonfiction?
Alright, alright; I guess we’ll see what we see, yes?
Yep.
eheh, indeed…that’s a long writer’s block; Hey, we all have ’em! Are you having trouble with ideas? Or the forming of a story/book? If that, then you should take a look at Writing Fiction for Dummies. It really helps.
Talented? I, uh, thanks!
Nice! Very interesting.
Very nice, Kat!
Yes! Thanks! Plan: clarification, I guess? How exactly do you mean? If there would be a theme between most of them, it would be nature. I write a lot of poems on nature: leaves, trees, rivers, and things.
How long? Well, I began writing poetry about two to three years ago, but I won’t be adding all of them: some aren’t that great, yes? It will be comprised of only my best pieces of poetry. Sometimes if I feel like it’s terrible I’ll have to hand it over to my Mom or somebody on SE to see what they think. It all depends, really.
The idea for publishing them all formally-like only came to me this year, and now all I have to do is get a computer, create my website (with blog), finish the format (get all poems included on document or otherwise and polish it all up), and publish it. I’m hoping that all goes well, but as of now, it’s all hinging on getting that computer. I should have it by the end of the year, Lord willing. 🙂 I guess this would be a plan. XD!!
Have you published anything?
October 4, 2019 at 9:47 pm #98179Katthewriter
@katthewriter@evelyn oh okay, cool! 😀
Well my other poem is about how I’m a bad writer xD
Computer.
Its a story, so, fiction. And the other is nonfic. 99% of what i write is Fic
No. It’s because i have Alphas, and Rogers chapter in Finding You had a fight scene, which I’ve never written before (other than a victim being destroyed in one) and i was afraid it was going to come off as cheesy, and so i procrastinated. I’m a master of procrastination
unfortunately. Ik how to write. I’m writing 20 books at once xD
<p style=”text-align: left;”>Yes very much so! How long have you been writing?

Thx! =)You planning on self or traditional publishing William?
October 5, 2019 at 12:18 am #98188Leon Fleming
@w-o-holmesVery nice!
I’ve been writing for about three years. All the threads of beginnings when I first began are continually being gathered together into four fantasy worlds and the art of actual poetry.
I think I’ll self-publish it first, then after I get my name out there farther than a lot, I’ll traditionally publish.
October 5, 2019 at 9:45 am #98195Evelyn
@evelyn@w-o-holmes Oh nice! That’s really cool.
I’ve been published…. twice? (I think… it’s been forever since I use to submit things to magazines.) My first publication was a poem in a photo contest.
True story. XD
October 5, 2019 at 11:54 am #98202Leon Fleming
@w-o-holmesYeah, that’ll be the tale. XD Like when some guy starts telling you about his scars. XD!!!
Cool! I’m thinking about submitting a poem to SE, so I hope that works.
October 5, 2019 at 12:59 pm #98205Katthewriter
@katthewriter@w-o-holmes sorry, what is your name? You just changed it so i guess it’s not William? XD
October 5, 2019 at 4:23 pm #98223Leon Fleming
@w-o-holmesXD!! Yeah, no it is Will(iam). People call me Will(iam), but my pen name is Leon Fleming. It’s been that for a while, but I’ve been toying around with a bunch of other names trying to see if I can come up with something right for the occasion.
