I very much agree!
One “trite phrase” that always bugs me when I hear those who identify with “the far left” use it is this:
“Our strength is in our diversity.”
I disagree with this “PC phrase” because it omits too much and fails.
“Strength is in unity. A unity that celebrates our God-given differences and blends them into balance and a harmonious symphony of shared and unified purposes.”
I don’t celebrate differences for difference’s sake alone. God assembles a body of many unique parts, but they work best when they complement the entire needs of the body.
You are so right in this statement, and it reveals so much.
With all this talk about diversity I’m not seeing a lot of people actually celebrate diversity unless it’s to spite some other group.
