I actually think the only reason they’re called sci-fi is because they’re set in space. In my opinion, they’re much more fantasy than sci-fi so you might enjoy them! But they’re worth reading just for being Lewis anyway.
It’s an Hawaiian farewell! It can be translated a few ways but “it was nice seeing you” or “I appreciate our meeting” is the most common. I think “Thank you for this meeting” is the pretty literal translation. I’ve been learning Hawaiian for a while now!
